how big of a cicle can this make

At it's widest opening it measures about 12.5" from tip to tip of the metal compass. If you use a fairly new pencil in the pencil holder and extend the pencil all the way out you can make at least a 30" diameter circle, maybe as much as 33" diameter.

does this fit a micron pen?

An old-school #2 pencil will fit this compass. If a micron pen is larger in diameter than a #2 pencil, then "no, it does not fit".

Just to ask if it can be wash or cleaned in thewasher disinfector (machine wash) and sterilize at 134 to 137 degrees. pls. let me know thank you

This will rust, in fact it arrives coated with a light oil to prevent rust. Also, the adjusting screw needs lubrication which the washing cycle would remove.

my wife wants a 4" and 6" and a 8" circle would this work on plastic to?

This compass measures 14 inches tall and opens to a maximum of 12.25 inches. It is adjustable from having the points all the way closed to any measurement in between that and the maximum. If you have a scribe that can be fastened into where the pencil goes you could etch a circle or curve into plastic as well. That would also give you a larger maximum measurement.
