2 piece slides
Very nice quality slides neatly packed in paper and bubble wrap inside the perfect size silver tin, all arrived safely in pristine condition. They both fit my pinky and ring finger only which is just fine by me.

Sweeeet!
Little finger size bottlenecks - a bit thinner-walled than my preference, but not to the point of being fragile, and at this price? in a neat little metal box? Love it!

Dented Tin.
The slides came, they are too big for my fingers and whilst my fingers are short they’re fairly wide so it was a surprise they’re so big, however that could be chalked up to me not reading the description properly. My main issue is the metal tin they came in is massively dented, especially on the side the glass slide was on. And, whilst I am lucky it didn’t break, it was poorly protected especially given the state of the case. Fair warning, if you’re just looking for a metal slide and your fingers are fairly big, then this is fine, but if you’re looking for a glass slide, then i’d look somewhere else, as it could end up smashed. And i’m sure this isn’t the fault of the delivery person, as the cardboard around the package was perfectly fine so i suspect its the fault of the manufactors or the distribution centre.

Good bottlenecks (if your finger is the right size)
The original blues players in the Mississippi Delta area cut the neck off a beer bottle and inserted the little finger of the left hand into the bottleneck to use as a slide on their guitar strings. In more modern times, you can buy this product – or similar – to do the same job. For the asking price, these bottleneck slides are OK. There’s a trad glass slide and an unbreakable steel one as an alternative: they do basically the same thing but the sound tone from each is subtly different (the sound of the guitar however will make more of a difference than the slide material). NB the amazon listing shows a photo of the slide being mounted on the index finger: this is incorrect. The little finger - or occasionally the ring finger – is generally used, and usually just the end-joint, as otherwise your other fingers will get in the way. Try it and you’ll soon discover this is the best way. Slides are also used in country music and other styles. If you’re new to the technique you’ll need to learn to use open tunings, as the standard guitar tuning won’t sound right. Fortunately in my case my finger is the right size to fit snugly into these bottlenecks. If your finger is small you can probably grip by tensioning your joints inside the bottleneck so it doesn’t slip off. However if your finger is too wide you’ll need to find a different bottleneck slide; a wide choice of options is available.

these arrived in a nice metal storage tin
these arrived in a nice metal storage tin, trouble is they only just fit in the tin, so while there was packing above and below them, the ends were not protected and the glass one arrived with one end chipped, which later developed into a crack rendering it unusable. Other than that they were fine and while the tin is a fiddle for them, the tin is ideal for picks. The seller quickly replaced these free of charge after seeing my feedback, so I have changed my review to five stars.
