I bought a second hand drum kit and all the cymbals sound absolutely shocking. Got these today and tried them out and they're 1000% better than the old ones in that they sound great! Seem sturdy too. Not sure why people pay 300 to 500 per cymbal - hopefully I won't find out!

I bought these as an upgrade for the very basic and flimsy 12" hi-hats that came bundled with my son's drum kit. These are substantial and have a much crisper and more consistent sound than the ones they've replaced and he's delighted with them. They were on offer when I bought them and appeared to be excellent value at the price given the consistently good customer reviews. I'm sure more discerning drummers will benefit from spending more, but I find these hard to fault for a practice kit.

Well packed and arrived very fast. Feels solid as opposed to cheap. Slight issue with fitting to my stand but no doubt that's because I've misplaced bits etc.

Qualité médiocre. Fait pour débuter, marqué très vite, gondole très vite. 'e pas acheter pour usage régulier car vous allez devoir changer régulièrement.

シンバルが厚めなのと縁のカッティングが丸いのでクローズの時のアタリが柔らかい印象。空気を踏んでいるような感覚。強く叩けばそれなりにパワーも出る。キラキラなハイハットがほしかったので充分満足。

Viel bleibt da nicht zu sagen. Das Meinl für Qualität bekannt ist, dürfte ja jeder wissen. Aber bei der HCS-Serie haben sie sich mal wieder selbst übertroffen. Die Hi-Hat-Becken sind zwar industriell gefertigt, sprich, kommen aus der Stanze. Jedoch haben sie dafür einen sehr angenehmen Sound. Das "Zisch" kommt schön zur Geltung und der Stockanschlag ist auch sehr schön perkussiv. Ich verwende es auch zum Aufnehmen im Projektstudio und muss sagen, dass ich ehrlich überrascht war, dass sich die Hi-Hat gegenüber allen anderen Becken so schön durchsetzt. Natürlich kann man nicht erwarten, dass die Becken klingen wie eine 400 € Hi-Hat, aber für den Preis einfach unschlagbar.

So che sono piatti basic ma sono belli pesanti e spessi hanno un bottom e un top.. avevo provato a prendere quelli super economici cinesi presumo ma erano praticamente una lattina suono orribile e sottilissimi ai ribaltavano su se stessi solo q guardarli. Questi hanno un bellissimo suono e sicuramente non si piegheranno. Super consigliati molto soddisfatta.. ora dovrò cambiare anche il crash ehehe avevo preso una batteria economica x iniziare e pian piano sto cambiando tutto eheh.cmq hi hat super questi!!! Unica pecca imballo assolutamente non adeguato e il corriere li ha anche mollato in cortile almeno e solito lascia i pacchi davanti la porta. Amazon deve iniziare a spedire le cose con più cura! Non prenderò mai più strumenti musicali etc o cose di valore e delicate tramite Amazon. Non ci si può fidare. Imballaggi adeguati!!! Non ci vuole tanto eh!!!

Let's face it. Drumming is an expensive hobby. Even if you get a basic 3 piece drum kit, it is costly as everything starts adding up. I recently got a new drum set after 30 years without one. I am not a serious drummer. I just drum for fun. the only thing my kit did not have was cymbals, including hi-hats. I was able to get a used crash and ride cymbal from a friend, so all I needed was hi-hats. After much research, and the fact my wife would not be happy if I spent a lot of money on a hobby, I decided to take a chance on these hi-hats. I am beyond happy that I did. I am no drummer as I said, but I have been around drummers since I am about 13 years, being on and off in various bands until my early 30's. These hi hats sound great to me. Sure, you can go out and spend $400 or more on hi-hats, but chances are if you are spending that type of money on hi-hats, these cymbals were not made for you to begin with. For everyone else, who may just play drums as a hobby, or who may just be getting into drums and does not have a huge budget, these are the hi hats to get. I will update this review if they crack before the 2 year warranty has expired, but I have put them through the ringer so far and they sound great, seem plenty sturdy, and are absolutely worth the price and then some. Thank you to Meinl for providing an option for people that is well made and worth the price.
