Campbell's Condensed Vegetable Beef Soup, 10.5 Ounce (Pack of 12) (Packaging May Vary)

Pros: I'd forgotten how good this old style spit pea soup with ham and bacon tasted! The natural smoke flavoring adds a good flavor to the protein content. It's a thick condensed texture in the can, but when you add a can of water to the pot, it thins it out too much for my liking. I prefer to use a 1/2 can of water and just add a 1/4 cup of milk or half and half. It's a generous serving, quite filling and enough for two if you add a large slice of garlic sourdough very lightly toasted with ghee butter. Yum! Shelf life is more than adequate because we ate it the same night we got it. Con: As described, but I still prefer the pop-top lid rather than struggling with those darn can openers that never seem to cut the entire top off. I checked the expiration date to make sure it wasn't old stock when I saw that! I am curious as to why Campbell's still manufactures the old style lids? Good Prices though! Some of the cans had dents, but they were inward, not bulging out (never eat anything with that type of dent!). Also, the lids were not affected when I used the can opener.

What's to know. I love the stuff. I love buying it by the case and saving money. This soup is yummy, good for you, and cheap.

I got this for my elderly mother. She really liked it. This will give her variety in her daily meals. She loves soup a lot and eats it often. So now we’ll be buying this more often now. My elderly cousin recommended it and said it tasted more like what her mother used to make. So that’s why we gave it a try. It worked out fine. Highly recommend!

love this soup but not as much as the old PEA SOUIP

I love this soup. A few of the cans were dented, but all were useable. Very tasty soup thick with veggies and barley and beef.

the soup is great,the driver was not again he left the package by the grage door not by my front door or porch,if the same driver does it again i will stop buying from prime or get me a new driver

Hearty and delicious. Medium thick with water added. Using milk instead of added can of water might thickened more.

A great reminder of my childhood. We had this when I was a kid. Great flavor and I like it better than the already concentrated as there is more flavor.
