## Overview

Defenders Slugs Away Barrier Tape is a 4-meter copper adhesive tape designed to protect plants from slugs and snails by creating a natural, harmless electrical charge. Weather-proof and easy to apply, it’s perfect for organic gardening and safe around children, pets, and wildlife.

## Description

Slugs Away barrier tape from Defenders is a simple and effective way of protecting plant pots, greenhouse stagings, raised beds and cold frames without using poison or chemical controls. When slugs and snails contact the tape a reaction between the mucous and copper produces a tiny electrical charge which discourages crossing.

## Features

- WEATHER-PROOF: Single-use copper barrier tape: apply to greenhouse poles, pots, raised beds, cold frames and planters. Lasts through all weathers
- CUT-TO-LENGTH: The 4m tape can be cut to required lengths, protecting up to 12 x 5” pots
- PROTECT: Humane slug and snail protection: copper slug tape forms a protective ring around plants and generates a small natural charge to stop snails and slugs from crossing without killing or harming them
- ORGANIC GARDENING: Suitable for organic gardening: tape contains no chemicals or poisons. Suitable for use around children, wildlife and pets
- EASY-TO-APPLY: Contains adhesive backing. Simply peel off protective backing and apply to desired area
- Packaging may vary

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I haven't found a review on the slug gel here, which is what is being sold on this page. anyone please?Do you have to buy the tape to use the gel?**
A: No you should just put the gel around the plants you want protecting, you will need to repeat every so often

**Q: What width is the tape?**
A: 3 cm, but to be honest, it hasn't stopped the snails

**Q: would this work to stop slugs getting in through the back door either attached to upvc or brick please help !**
A: Hi,

It is designed for use on flower pots, raised beds and planters although it should work with UPVC although we cannot guarantee this.

Thanks,

**Q: are there 2 slug traps in this pack for £2**
A: Yes, I seem to remember that there are two in the box
