To be honest, the colour was the main selling point for me - at the pool I use, you can hire pull-buoys and I wanted it to be really obvious that this one was mine, and I wasn't trying to steal a hired one.The colour isn't as pink as it looks in the photos. It's more of a deep magenta. I don't really care. It's a swimming float, not a fashion statement.As a float, it works really well. It's made from five layers of foam, and deeper than most so it's more bouyant. It perfectly offsets the weight of my legs so I can focus on my arm stroke. It fits well between my thighs too, so I can tumble-turn without it moving. It might only be a float, but little things can make a big difference, and I really prefer this one to any other I've used.Because it's so bouyant, I've found I can also put it under my neck like a pillow and do backstroke legs only.I'm bound to leave this pull-buoy at the pool one day, or someone will nick it. If either of those happen, I will definitely buy another one.
