Goldenseal Root capsules I've taken this herb for decades its something we always have in, as it's one of the best herbs to help you fight of a cold, flu or even Covid. Example beginning of January this year my partner and I came down with Covid-19. We were lucky as we where just in bed for 2 weeks. But even my other half (who thinks everything that's not from the doctors or chemist is a waste of money) not only was happy to take these but actually told people that herbs I'd given him had really helped him get over being ill. These work best being taken with vit c and zinc. I find they are best if you start taking when you first feel the start of say a cold. Keep taking a few days after your cold has gone but don't take just in case. They work to help your body fight of an infection.

I used mostly for winter, good quality for size and money. Eben my husban took it when he had cold and virus infection.

I have some recurring tooth pain on one side according to a recent tooth x-ray I have a little bit of infection above a couple of teeth. I got this for it's natural antibiotic properties and have taken a couple everyday for a couple of weeks. Could be coincident but the pain has subsided in the time and now just hanging on until my dentist can fit me in and get the issues sorted. Capsules are totally sealed but they do have a slightly 'agricultural' taste but nothing unpleasant.

This is well worth having to help ease your digestive system, which I use alongside Turmeric and a Gluten Free diet. Two capsules of Goldenseal Root each day is all I need. My stomach is now silent and digesting as it should in peace and comfort - what more could I ask.

Golden seal root has got to be the best thing out there naturally to treat bacterial, viral and fungus infections. I commonly use this herb to treat cold sores and the odd bout of candida infections. I usually take 2 capsules daily for about a week. However, I found that I had to take 4 capsules daily for 3 weeks (longer time period) which doesn't make it great value for money. Also, it didn't 'smell' like the usual golden seal root brand I use. So it made me question the potency of this bottle - ie, have more of the other ingredients been added to change the concentration of each capsule? For the sake's of £2 extra, I will be using the other brand because I feel it's better quality

Useful Especially as Goldenseal is No Longer Available in Tincture Form. As a Herbalist Practitioner of 10+ years I can recommend these as a general herbal antibiotic which I use together with Echinacea Angustifolia.

Before I was able to prepare for any kind of cold weather type of illnesses, "right out of the gate," I ended up getting pnamonina in late September. Even though I was unsure if any of my supplies, once ordered and received, would be effective, after experiencing 6 weeks of the worst part of my illness had passed, I purchased my cold weather illness supplies anyway. I have been using Goldenseal to aid toward combating 'mucus' along with strengthing the immune system each winter season since about 1989. This particular item, specifically is Goldenseal Root, which comes within a capsule formed pill. I feel the size of the pill is a bit large, yet, I have been able to swallow each supplement easily enough when taken individually. I began using Goldenseal regularly (along with Echinaeca) every cold and flu season (approximate length of usage time is about 4 months out of each year - per instructions) after reading about the possible effectiveness of this supplement. I feel whenever I went without the use of these supplements, I found myself becoming sick more frequently along with my recovery time taking longer than if I used this supplement. I am not a medical professional, thus I am unable to recommend the use of this product as well, it is best to consult your personal doctor prior to adding or using any new supplement or medication. For myself, I will continue to purchase these specific supplements because I have found this particular brand, supplement type (Goldenseal Root) to be a good quality for the price. In other words, it works well for me, I have been happy with the use of this product and will purchase again in the future when a refill is necessary.

I've read the other reviews. I must agree with the positive reviews. It IS true that this goldenseal root is not as bitter or yellow as other goldenseal root products. Which is the truer product? I felt more ensured when I read on the label what this product does NOT contain: The label states that it has 1140 mg Goldenseal root, and that it contains: "No Artificial Color, Flavor or Sweetener, No Preservatives, No Sugars, No Corn, No Soy, No Eggs, No Lactose, No Gluten, No Wheat, No Yeast, No Fish, Sodium Free. I had to switch my eating habits for health reasons 30+ years ago. I've depended upon herbs for healing all that time. I "break-out" from a number of pharmaceutical antibiotics. I am so grateful to be able to count on Goldenseal Root's powerful natural antibiotic properties. So when I used BEST NATURALS Goldenseal Root with my hot lemon juice, mesquite honey and pure peppermint extract decoction for the terrible cold I picked up this past autumn, my husband... also down with a bad cold... "mocked" me when after 7 days, I still had a cough. But after 10 days total, I was completely recovered. Whereas my husband, resorting to pharmaceuticals coughed so badly for months, that he still is dealing with residue coughing and hacking. He has no voice left! We're in our 70's. Colds hit us really hard. I know by my years of experience with goldenseal, that BEST NATURALS worked at least as well if not better than other goldenseal root powders and capsules I've purchased. Then each subsequent day, I sprinkle 4 capfuls into the day's fresh pot. Again I dilute as necessary after the first 2 cups. I do not exceed 10 days. If I need to.. like for dental infections, etc. I wait 2 weeks, and drink my brew for another ... up to 10 days. That's it. Usually only one 10 day period is necessary. Occasionally, I'll feel as though I'm starting to come down with "something". In that case, I take 2 caps in my coffee or tea before bed. That does it. I KNOW BEST NATURALS WORKS!!! My own quick recoveries are a testament to the product. I'm buying more so that I can be sure I have it in stock. The great thing about this and other goldenseal products is that the germs can't seem to "beat" them... in contrast to pharmaceuticals, which can't seem to keep up with germ "evolution".
