Hard to tell what you're getting for the money. Even though it looked a bit cheap, this was reviewed well so took the plunge. I wanted a tow rope in the car anyway but this was bought specifically to move a knackered 4x4. The clips on the rope work well. It is elasticated, so needs to stretch to full length and take the load before it will pull anything. We successfully doubled it over to shorten that distance due to the lack of space we had trying to manoeuvre the broken 4x4. It's already paid for itself and it will stay in the car for emergencies. No complaints. Review: Great Tow Rope - Used this to tow my 1litre Vauxhall Corsa Comfort (2001) roughly 3miles and it was perfect. No damage to the rope whatsoever afterwards. Always make sure to keep the rope taught and follow the instructions as they are bang on. The rope can amazingly withstand quite a few “tugs/jolts” if the main driver/vehicle doing the towing is moving off a little too fast so don’t worry about the rope snapping - just don’t go crazy and move off really fast when there’s slack in the rope (or in general). Take your time and this rope should serve you well.
