Based on what I can see on the Amazon website it is impossible for me to know if 4Knines is genuinely the inventor and original manufacturer of this product, but when you see very similar products on Amazon for a lot less money, with one seller actually using some of the exact same photos in their advert, you do wonder if you're being ripped off.However that said my honest opinion of this product is as follows:PROS:Design clearly makes car travel safer for your dog.The padded materials make the seat cover comfortable (our dog sleeps on it quite happily).Apparently made from reasonable quality materials.Good construction.Fast and easy to fit.Fits our car perfectly (new style Vauxhall Zafira Tourer).Does not slide around due to rubberised underside and the simple to fit 'anchor tubes'.Easy velcro access to seatbelts so seats can be used without removing the cover (providing your passenger(s) don't mind the dog hair).Fast and helpful customer service.Lifetime guarantee (only of use if the company is still around in the years to come).CONS:Seriously overpriced for what is is!No door protection. Other manufacturers are adding side panel sections that protect the car doors, fitted with zips to allow easy access for you dog...this one does not.One other manufacturer also includes a proper zipped bag in which to store the seat cover when not in use...the one does not. All you receive is the plastic bag it is supplied in, but for this much money I feel that one should be included.In conclusion I would say that this is definitely a very good product indeed, but I personally think they are over priced. Had the price been more realistic and/or the product had the additional features I've mentioned above, then I would have given 5 stars without hesitation.

I have tried numerous car seat covers over the years. We have 2 large dogs a Goldendoodle and a Golden Retriever. The main complaint has been that the covers do not cover the full width of the seat and the need to cut holes to allow seatbelt access. I took the decision to pay more than usual in the hope of finding a cover which was long enough to cover the seat and which also had the facility to access the seat belt anchors. Well I am very happy to report that this product does exactly that. Not only is it long enough (Subaru Out back car) but it also has flaps which cover the side of the back seat. I use the cover as a hammock to ensure any sand stays on the cover rather than the floor. Expensive but well made, well thought out and good quality and design.

I've noticed that there are numerous similar items (they all look the same from the photos) of differrent brand names, at different prices. This one was the most expensive but I'm thoroughly delighted with it and am able to compare it with one bought by a colleague with a different brand name at a cheaper price. The main difference seems to be in the thickness of the material. I installed it for my boxer in the back of my new BMW M2 and it's perfect. For added protection I had to find (elsewhere) some side protectors to velcro under the rear windows. Whilst the underneath is treated with an effective non-slip coating, the dog does still slide from side to side but I think you can't have it both ways: waterproofed and non slip. To sum up, I'm really glad I chose this brand !

These products have clearly been designed by "Doggie" people who know from experience, incorporating the best combination in the designs that fulfill the needs for both dog owner, vehicle care, and the requirements for doggie travel.A Perfect fit for my Jaguar XE, this protects the leather rear seat and my English Springer Spaniel "Flint" settled down to make himself comfortable it is now his go to space.I am very satisfied with my 4Knines product, the workmanship is to a very high standard, very nicely made,After searching the usual suspects and trawling online for a suitable size and build quality I am pleased that I purchased this one, rather than be tempted by some of the cheap imitation's.Texture and material choice are good, stitching and fixings are excellent, and looks great in my Jaguar.Easy to adjust and set up, easy to slip off and store in my trunk.If you enjoy good standards and quality then I recommend one these.Martyn in the UK.

After going through a number of other seat covers/hammocks, so far at least this one has not ripped where the straps join the cover! This is because it is stitched securely and not just an eyelet. It covers the seat well and the end flaps have put an end to muddy paw marks on the edge of the seats where our greyhound climbs up. The cover is robust and the fact that you can fix it umnder the back of the seat is a help. The only reason I have not given it five stars is because our greyhound still manages to move it around. He likes to stand and lean on the back of the front seats - greyhounds travel to races standing in cages - and often puts a foot in the hammock part; however, so far this has not resulted in the fixings tearing as with other covers. I have high hopes for this one :-))

I am more than pleased with my car seat cover . I read many reviews and can confirm that the material of my cover is excellent and not 'noisey' , it does not smell and needs little airing prior to use! It is easy to put on and has small side flaps ,so keeping all the seat clean.I am greatful for other reviews as learnt that our Audi A6 needed EXTRA large size cover. It arrived in just a couple of days and fits pretty well. It may be a fraction large but I could easily sew a small tuck but may not bother as it looks good and our very large dog is happy and well behaved on this non slip cover. The car is well and truly protected , so after the first week I would highly recommend this product..
