Colours are bright and cheerful, as displayed in the picture online; though it's not as high as the picture on the box suggests (it barely came up to the waist of my young toddler). Did the job well and was loved by my baby, who voluntarily stepped into the bath every night while we were away, which is unheard of at home. You don't need a pump to blow it up - it took me a few minutes to blow up without a pump.
