Excellent microwave, Simple manual controls and non of the bells and whistles which means less problems. 700Watts, but does the job in no time. It's retro look, easy to use and price makes it the hottest micro on the market from a well known brand. Russell Hobbs have cracked this one.

This is very compact. Easy to use, noise level is minimal’ has interior light. Easy to clean it’s been years and till working perfectly I highly recommend

I'm newish to using Microwaves so have very little to compare with however I am very happy with this one. Looks wise it combines the retro feel with a nice modern mirror glass door and the cream looks great in my kitchen where I have cream cupboards. It has a 25cm glass plate but can easily take my 26.5cm large denby dinner plants. It has a 1 metre cable (length of cable not plug ends) which is situated at top right. It came very well double packed in Russel Hobbs box and outer cardboard box. There was a large booklet with it re advise on using but only a very small leaflet of recipes - the same information as on website. Overall you need to allow 33cm from front to back (this is from the very back to the very front of the handle) and the leaflet advises to have 7cm behind that for circulation. The width is 44cm and the height 25cm. All different to shown on website. It also works very efficiently. The one small point I would make is that it does appear to produce a lot of condensation - more than one's I've had in the past so reading the other feedback you must be careful to wipe out after to avoid rust. Overall a good buy.

Good product that is easy to use

I will update this review if anything changes and I run into problems with my retro cream R&H microwave. However, for now it looks great and runs perfectly. For someone who has poor eyesight and arthritis in fingers, the twist dials for the power settings and timer are a great relief in this digital world where everything requires finger dexterity and finding your glasses before you can operate anything!The size is perfect for my small kitchen, I would not have fit a larger model in.The only thing I will say as a heads up is to check you have the head clearance (30 cm) and side clearance (7cm) when the microwave is in situ or like I do, just slide it out a bit from under the overhead cabinets before using. Like any operating machinery, not following these instructions could compromise the function or damage the microwave- it has vents on the side which need the 7cm clearance and can get hand warm on top, so needs head clearance to prevent overheating.It makes a normal loud microwave hum but if it starts making an unusual noise or accumulating an excessive amount of steam, I would stop using it immediately but, early days, so far it is a great and attractive addition to my kitchen, matching my R&H toaster as well as my retro cream and chrome kettle (of another brand).
