Lily England Black Detangling Brush for Beard & Scalp - Unisex Hair Brush

I really love this brush! I have naturally curly long hair that I switch between blow drying/straightening and leaving curly, often throwing up in a messy bun for ease, which at times can leave my hair tangly and a pain to brush out, especially before washing. I’ve used my trusty Denman classic for years which I love, but wanted something a little more gentle especially on extra tangly days, I also have arthritis in my hands so like something easy to grip. I chose this brush and am very happy I did, it glides through my hair even when I feel it’s knotty and gets all the tangles out with ease, it’s gentle enough to use on wet or dry hair without ripping or damaging my hair at all! The design is great and it’s easy to hold/grip even when my hands are hurting and stiff/ swollen, I don’t need to pull or tug, it’s very comfortable for my scalp and in my hands. It also came with a matching detangling comb which is great for using with conditioner in the shower. I love the rose gold colour too. ☺️ Overall I’m very impressed with this brush it’s quality is just as good if not better than its famous competitor, it detangles my hair easily and gently and is excellent value for money! I’m now also getting one for my daughter who has thick very long hair as I’m certain it will be perfect for her too. Highly recommended. ✨

First impressions being extremely pleased with this item. Good quality products. Hair brush glides comfortably through my daughter’s normally problematic hair. She is 4 years old & slept in the wrap with no complaints. For the first time ever she woke up without tuggy hair. Managed to comb through smoothly in the morning leaving lovely loose curls.

Excellent brush. I have medium length hair. It's thick and quite unruly. This brush deals with it very successfully. It's also great value for money. Would definitely recommend.

I've recently discovered (I mourn the many years of flyaway frizz!) my hair wants to naturally be wavy -as a side note if your hair goes lovely and wavy if you let it air dry after washing and then back to frizz once brushed, you're the same as me! They're there but they don't like a lot of brushing and like a lot of misting and "plopping"! My old brush was a bit too harsh for pulling through hair that I was no longer brushed twice a day and I needed something detangling as I now brush 2 or 3 times a week to preserve the waves. This brush is light in the hand and didn't pull out any hair that wasn't ready to shed. A few pulls but I'm very impressed and my eldest now wants one for their own long hair. It's also pretty - that shouldn't be as big a point as it is but I wanted to keep my brush long term if I was buying plastic (my old brush was wood) and I wanted to actually like it. It's so nice to find a colour that's fun and pretty without being girly as I like my things to be gender neutral but without being boring. My only criticism is that it could be finished a little better around the seem where the two halves join and although it's ergonomic, it could be slightly sized down for my smaller hands. I'll update when I know how the shiny back weathers down with use as it feels most natural to put it down bristled side up :)

I really wanted to like this set because it looks beautiful, but it just didn’t work for me. The brush claims to detangle gently, but it actually pulled at my hair more than expected. The small black bristles are too short to get through my hair properly, so instead of gliding through, it kept snagging and causing discomfort. I tried using it a few times to give it a fair chance, but each time it hurt my scalp and pulled strands out. The design is pretty and the set feels lightweight, but unfortunately the performance just isn’t there. If you have thicker or longer hair, this may not be the best option.

I bought this brush exactly one year back and it works just as good today. No breakage of any of the teeth. It is very helpful to get rid of tangles in wet or even dry hair. My girls make sure I use this brush before using the regular comb as it hurts less for clearing tangled hair. Would definitely recommend it.

I got this brush back in November 2023, and it still works perfectly and looks just as nice as the day I bought it! It has easily become my absolute favorite brush. I love that I can use it on both wet and dry hair, and it works wonderfully for distributing creams or conditioners evenly while washing or styling. One of my favorite things about it is how incredibly easy it is to clean. I absolutely hate using dirty hair brushes, so this is a huge plus for me! Even though I use it every single day, it is still just as cute and shiny as ever. Here is how it looks like after 3 years
