DeoxIT D5S-6 Spray, More Than A Contact Cleaner, 142g, Integrated Straw, Pack of 1

Brilliant stuff. Completely cured two electrical faults on switches. Had come close to throwing the items away but was told about this and thought I’d have one last attempt at repairing. So glad I did. Saved myself a fortune on new equipment. Highly recommend.

I brought this for my old amp, as switch cleaner leaves dials gritty. This cleans and lubricates at the same time, and you hardly need to idea any at all. Used it on a couple of things so far and it's simply awesome. I would definitely recommend this 100%,in fact I may never use standard switch cleaner again. Worth every penny

Great product, but spray action, even at it's minimal setting, often wastes too much liquid, and it's not cheap. Top Tip: spray half into a jar with a lid and apply with a syringe to avoid wastage, only use the spray nozzle when really needed.

Bought this as a last resort before putting my venerable 30 year old NAD 3130 amplifier in for repair. The amp has suffered from the right audio channel "drop out" for a considerable time. I sprayed all the moving parts inside the amp, volume/balance pots, switches, etc, worked them as per instructions. Lo and behold both channels now working perfectly with no background "noise". I also tried it on the volume control of a "face off" car stereo that has been very dodgy for a considerable amount of time - same result - now working perfectly. Although it is expensive for such a small can, it's a very inexpensive repair when compared to putting the amp to a specialist (I don't know what it would have cost......)

Used on my Cornford Carrera valve amp. Did a full service new valves and pots cleaned. Excellent product. Also used on my guitars scratchy pickup selector switches.

I have never believed it when people have told me that there is no alternative to DeoxIT when it comes to cleaning pots, sockets and other electronics. I got myself a contact cleaner by another brand and thought that would solve my issue. Wrong. Since I used Deoxit on the sockets of my 50s tube (valve) amp, it has worked perfectly and silently. I give in. There really isn’t an alternative that works. Extraordinary product that has no rivals. A complete monopoly which I reluctantly accept!

Have not used it yet, but pleased to to have purchased it. It is pricey though. Like the size of it!!

No fault of the seller who delivered item quite promptly but the red straw is not integrated and does not fit the nozzle - either the nozzle needs remodelling or a slightly larger diameter straw need to e supplied. I would not use this item on circuit boards as such as it makes quite a mess just using the spray from the nozzle - unacceptable bearing in mind the cost of this product. I have a number of straws saved from various other spray cans saved over the years and could not get one to fit. However, I was merely cleaning battery contacts on a number of hand held torches which had failed owing to corrosion and this liquid did the job well enough but as mentioned rather messily.

After researching this product and seeing consensus that it essentially works well, I bought it for 36+tax. I have a McIntosh C22 which is vintage. It worked very well on the moving components. But time will tell how long it maintains these dials. This product not only dissolves the corrosion but also lubricates these components. Also, I had no problems with the straw fitting into nozzle. So, I highly recommend this product. Well worth the money for my vintage stuff. If anything changes, I'll post here. Otherwise, great product.
