Great image Quality for Wii on HD tv
been using my wii again lately and was really disappointed with how it looked on my 1080p tv through the standard scart connection, honestly could not even tell what was going on in Twilight Princess. I have component cables for my PS2 and they helped make my games look better so i decided to get these and im very happy with these component cables they improve the picture quality over standard scart very well.Just remember though the Wii is a non HD console even with these cables games will still only run at a max resolution of 480p so theses cables are not going to make your games suddenly HD, but they will look much better than standard scart/av I have also been using them to play some gamecube games through the wii as there is a good chunk of gamecube games that supported 480p you can check a list online to see what ones run.Anyway if you are thinking on getting these and just have the standard cables for the price i would say do it! :)(added some images of Metroid Prime 2 running at 480p with the cables)

the product works and is of a very good build quality
Right, in leui of all the paid for customer reviews on this list (anyone can get five stars for a product if they pay someone to do the review and give them the product for nothing) I thought I'd give a real review.the product works and is of a very good build quality. The cable is thick and the RCA heads are very solid. It works and gives no detectable noise on screen. That's all you can really hope for. Why four stars? Well it's not all plain sailing. The plug end for the machine is very tight to the point I was a little concerned about damaging the socket but it does appear to be fine but I did need pressure to get it in.The cable isn't very long. These days the Wii and even the Wii-u is a dead system and if you're running one you'll be doing so with multiple other systems so having more than the standard length of cable would be useful. Instead this is short as standard cables go.A couple of niggles that I'm sure had I been paid for this review I would have forgotten to mention.

Works perfectly, great value too.

Does its job
I see a number of people complaining about the picture not working, or being black and white. Keep in mind there are 2x red coloured connectors. If you have issues, disconnect the 2x red connectors and try them in the opposite connections. I had image issues initially, but switching the red connectors solved my issue.All-in-all the cable works, and gives arguably the best image you can get from the WII, which, being only 480p you need to squeeze as much clarity as you can on a modern, HD TV. Just make sure to change screens settings in the settings menu.

Works as expected
All RCA cables connected securely to their respective inputs. The Wii "Multi AV" connector fit easily, without too much pressure needed to insert. If you're looking for the "best" quality signal you can get out of a Wii then a component cable (like this one) is basically it. This cable will allow for 480p output from your Wii + games.Using the "Nintendon't" homebrew software you can also force 480p output from GameCube games (even PAL ones) which is only possible with a component cable (or one of those rubbish "Wii2HDMI" upscalers that basically just push an upscaled/degraded component signal over HDMI). Keep in mind this cable won't suddenly make the Wii "HD" - it's just providing a higher quality, progressive analogue signal. If you mainly use your Wii for 240p content (retro games via Virtual Console, or homebrew emulators) you might be better off looking for an RGB SCART cable which provides a higher quality, RGB signal (rather than component's YPbPr). The difference is you can only get a max of 480i via RGB SCART.TL;DR:If you're plugging a Wii directly into an HDTV and/or mainly play Wii/Gamecube games, use these cables. If you're plugging a Wii into a Framemeister XRGB Mini (or other external upscaler) and/or mainly use the Wii for 240p content, use an RGB SCART cable.

Great Picture Quality!
I bought a second hand Wii (480p) and it only came with a standard AV/Scart connection. Picture was a little washed out so I purchased this cable. After I connected the cable to the Wii and TV and changed the TV settings in the Wii menu, I could immediately see a big improvement in picture quality and depth of colour.I have used similar cables in the past so I knew what to buy to improve the picture quality.Just make sure your TV does have component connections and that you change the settings in your Wii control menu to 480p.

Pretty good cables, but it depends on what converter etc your using…
The cables work well for sound and picture quality, and the picture is colourful and sharp, depending if your using a component to hdmi converter, or if your just using them without a converter, but they have these diagonal ghost lines that appear on the screen and they are very noticeable, im not sure if thats the converter im using, but i have two converters, and both of them display the ghost lines, far side from the lines, the cable is pretty decent. Its worth the money if your not picky with the picture or if the ghost lines bother you or not.
