Excellent traditional dolly pegs

I purchased the pegs to use as a decorative item and for this purpose they are great, I would defiantly recommend. The colour is great and you can clearly see some wood grain, which is good for decorative purposes. If you are wanting to use them as pegs, I do not think these are the best as a few of the pegs have a raw / splintered edge on the inside of the split of the peg (see photos).

These are absolutely brilliant, nothing to break or ping off, back to basics. They definitely vary in grip but washing is different thickness,so no problem, love them

Good pegs and if soak in water overnight works better

I bought a pack of these pegs in May 2023 and was delighted by their quality; they look almost hand carved! They are also very good at holding the washing to the line; I'd definitely give them 5 stars, but I never had enough so decided to buy some more this month (September). As you can see from the photos, the quality (and perhaps the wood used?) has seriously deteriorated. The first pegs are a golden yellow colour, smooth and with a nicely rounded head. The second set are a completely different colour, badly finished and you can see where they were attached to a machine for turning. They might be OK for crafting but for hanging out washing, they are not fit for purpose."They're only pegs", I hear you say, but the first set represented great quality at a good price. The second set are just about passable but I'd need to smooth off the rough bits myself, which I am not prepared to do. The price had been reduced a bit, and I guess this is to reflect the reduced quality, but I would have expected a bit of consistency when buying the same product from the same manufacturer. I'm disappointed and returning them for a refund.

Love these pegs. I've used wooden pegs in the past and eventually they all split and broke, these feel much stronger and will hold the washing on the line even on very windy days. I would recommend these sturdy strong little pegs.

First time buying dolly pegs and they are lovely! They keep my laundry without moving. They work well on thin clothes and you cannot put them on very thick clothes but that’s okay for me. I put some clothes on hangers and put the pegs on hanger heads to stop them from moving. These dolly pegs are quite good at it unlike the plastic ones which move all hangers to one place! Look nicer and friendlier to the environment when compared with the plastic ones. I’m very pleased with my purchase.
