I would easily give 10 stars, this is by far the best headlight restoration kit I have ever used,All you need is a good drill and a bit of patience whilst do the job, do exactly what the instructions tell you to do and you’ll get a perfect result it’s as if a new light fixture is fitted, to do my headlights it took me about a little over an hour, there’s no hard rubbing because your drill does the hard bit

I have a 20-year-old Mazda with headlights that had seen better days, scratched, chipped, yellowed, and cloudy. Honestly, I was pretty sceptical about whether a restoration kit could make a real difference. But what a pleasant surprise! The Autoglym Headlight Restoration Kit did a fantastic job. The headlights now look almost like new, clear and fresh, which really lifts the whole appearance of the car and increases safety at dark. A quick tip for anyone using this kit: if you're using a battery-powered drill, make sure the battery is fully charged and strong. Even better, use a corded electric drill for consistent power. Be mindful of the drill speed, especially during polishing. If you go too fast, you'll end up with white polishing compound splattered everywhere. Ideally, your drill should have adjustable speed control. All in all, I'm very pleased with the results. The difference is night and day. This kit is brilliant. Quick and simple to use. I have done 2 headlights so far that have failed an MOT. On the last one the garage quoted £35 to sort it. So this kit has paid for itself and some. Plenty of bits left to do a good few more headlights in the future.

It does what it claims and is well thought out - just follow the instructions carefully, it's not complicated. Headlamp surfaces are much, much better now - if not looking brand new but that would be asking too much.Only observation: the paper discs can clog very quickly, so it's handy to have available some of your own wet and dry paper in stock to use once the discs are past it, particularly in 800 grade and 1500 grade - just a sheet of each. If you wanted to really go to town you could also start with some 600 grade to get the process started.Be patient - it only really starts to look good and clear with the final stage where you put the wet polish on the sponge and shine it all up.

This really works. I tried a £10 product that had a manual brush and not a great polish which made the head lights worse. I watched the video and read reviews thought I would rather try this albeit 3x the price over the hundreds for new lights. I’m glad I did. The difference is night and day. Using a drill is the obvious difference. Once you start, keep going as the magic dosnt happen until the polish is really worked into the light, 2 applications of polish did the job. Don’t over press and keep the drill speed low. Only advice buy tape to not damage paint work and watch the video as you do the work. Also wear old clothes the polishing can spread dust.

Worked like a treat. Lights like new.

Okay! I bought this last August and only got around to using it today. I decided to just try the polish compound without sanding it first, and I must say this is top stuff! I spend about 20 minutes on each headlight and they now look as good as new with no trace of any yellowing. I highly recommend this.
