I’ve been using the Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer on my Afro-Caribbean hair and it’s honestly one of the best tools I’ve used. It cuts down drying time so much — my hair dries and stretches way quicker, and it comes out smooth, soft, and much easier to manage. It’s especially good for thick, coily hair because it detangles and dries at the same time, so you’re not fighting with two tools. I also like that it leaves my hair with a nice shine and less frizz and it gives more of a stretched, blowout look rather than completely straight hair, which I actually prefer for everyday styling. Only thing is the heat can be quite high, so definitely use a heat protectant and work in sections for the best results. Overall, it’s a really good, affordable option if you want quicker, easier styling on Afro-textured hair without salon effort.

As a 4c girl, I bought this so that I no longer have to deal with the comb attachment on a regular dryer that just keeps falling off mid way or breaking. I was so excited to use this but I found out it does take a little getting used to at first. Pros: - Light and easy to hold - Controls are at the bottom (you rotate it), so no more accidentally turning off the dryer or changing the setting midway - Blow dries nicely once you know how to use it. As another review said: brush VERTICALLY. It makes the difference, trust me. Cons: - It's LOUD. I had to wear ear plugs because I felt like it was deafening me! - It takes a while to heat up. Skip the first setting because it was so lukewarm it was doing nothing so I went to the second setting and still thought "is this it?" Turns out it just takes a few minutes to really heat up then it gets hot. Solid 4/5 from me. I wish it wasn't so loud and got a bit hotter but it's good. Overall, it took 15 minutes to dry my hair and I have very THICK 4C hair so it's well worth the purchase.

I love this product, it's dries my hair in no time,I don't need to go the saloon anymore...I highly recommend for 4c hair type..I noticed the hair fall is less.

I was dissapointed on first impressions, I was even thinking of returning it. It's nothing more than a hairdryer, where air comes out through the holes in the plastic hairbrush. It was very uncomfortable to hold, I don't have small hands, but I was really struggling to hold it, but i guess it would be difficult to design it differently. Despite initial reservations, I decided to give it a shot and - I was actually happy with the results. I used it a few times now and every time I get a better result as my technique improves. I now hold the strands of my hair and use the brush like a hairstylist would do during a blow dry. My hair is wavy, and this hairbrush straightens it without making it flat. I'm very happy with it. To cut on time I use a regular hairdryer for a few minutes to dry off my hair a tad before progressing to using this drying brush. I would definitely recommend it, despite it being awkward to hold

I have the Revlon round barrel brush (the brush combs are closer together) which works better than this flatter head brush. I do think it would work perfect on a fuller/ thicker type of hair. This doesn’t half the drying time like it states (based on not so thick hair). But the brush its self is great just a shame I need a fuller head of hair.

I really like this dryer! It works great on all hair types, even type 4. I use it on my son’s type 3 hair too — his hair gets matted fast, but this brush moves quickly and makes detangling super easy. You It does get pretty hot, so use a heat protectant. After about 3 years, the fuse can wear out, but overall it’s totally worth it — quick, simple, and great for everyday use.

Great but I don’t think it’s practical enough for type 4c hair

Ein wirklich tolles und vor allem praktisches Produkt. Was ich allerdings schade finde, das niergendwo erwähnt wird, das ein Steckdosenadapter benötigt wird, da das Gerät mit einem US Netzteil ausgestattet ist. Deswegen einen Stern Abzug. Ansonsten klare weiterempfehlung.

Livraison bien, colis est arrivé en état parfait. L'adaptateur français était envoyé dans le foulée dès que j'ai signalé qu'il manquait du colis d'origin. J'ai les cheveux afro et je confirme que mes cheveux sèches bien et sont démêlés. Deux points negatives : 1) les picots (1 ou 2) tombent, c'est ennuyant de les remettre et il y a un risque de perte. 2) l'écriture qui indique le température s'efface facilement à cause de l'huile sur les mains. La bruit pour moi n'est pas dérangent, mais je peux voir comment ça peux poser problème la nuit.

I wish I knew about this blow dryer earlier. I was able to dry my hair in 5 minutes. I didn’t have to fight to keep the afro comb attachment on, or worry about the hair dryer getting hot while I’m holding it as I normally have to do with the standard hairdryer. This revlon one-step hair dryer is lightweight and very comfortable to hold. I was able to blow dry my hair with ease from all different angles as if I was holding a normal brush. I also had way less breakage. I would 1000% recommend this blow dryer especially if you have Afro hair, I will definitely be telling my family and friends about it.
