could i use this paint as the main coat and not cover it with a top colour? as i want grey?

It's very matt, and close to black in colour , also a little lumpy because of the metal filings in it?!

If you put magnetic paint on small section of a plastered wall and then painted over the whole wall, would you see where the magnetic area is?

How many coats do you need to apply?

Hi Trisha, we will always advise a minimum of 3 coats to give you great results. This was applied in our office and all of the Neodymium and Ferrite magnets attract really well.

Could anyone recommend the ideal strength of neodymium magnets to use? Thanks

Neodymium Magnets do come in various strengths, shapes and sizes. As much as it needs to be strong, when using magnets on magnet paint it is also important to have a reasonable size contact surface area. 23mm diameter is usually a good size to use and should hold about 10 pieces of A4 paper.
