Fantastic, A great item for the classic car enthusiast. Easy to use, good hand grip with pistol style trigger switch for comfort of use. good bright light. great HT lead connection with sliding clip, no need to detach HT lead. rubber protective light shroud keeps it safe from bumps and bashes during working. treat it well and I should thing it will last most amateur classic car enthusiasts for a good length of service life. Advance retard adjustment dial at back of the unit is easy to set. Good clips to battery terminals. I think quite a stylish design. Many thanks to the seller for this great product. Unstable/poor light/ best thing got caught in fan / in bin / Ps I was a mechanic for 45 years so know good from bad.

Excellent bit of kit. The advance dial on the back of the timing light makes setting up any car easy. It's also amazing how much difference is made by rotating the car's distributor just a tiny bit. Now I understand why it's essential to use a timing light! Good quality, bright light, easy to use, what's not to like? Recommended!

Worked fine initially and after the first timing session I knocked it off the bench whilst still in its packaging. It has not worked since so do not "drop test" this product as its fragile. Worked fine but fragile is my opinion.

Great gun, however the strobe light has failed (only used it 5 times) but can you get a replacement???? Can't find one anywhere in the WORLD! Emailed Gunson several times, no reply. So, great gun just hope it never fails. Edit: After ringing Gunson direct (David in the Service Dept) - I happy to say they kindly offered to send me a Xenon flasher unit FREE OF CHARGE. Therefore I have changed my review score to 5 stars. As I said before Great Gun - but now with great support.

Adjusted my timing very quickly, I liked the timing read out feature. This makes the job much easier and quicker

At around the £50 mark this light is a great tool. Does exactly what you want it to do. I wouldn’t pay more for it though and I have seen the same one being sold for up to £88. But for a simple timing light for the home mechanic I found this to be perfect.

I bought this timing light in England, last week, thought I'd got a reasonable quality product for 50 pounds. I took it back to the Philippines where I live, carefully packed inside a suitcase and still in its original Amazon packing. Today I took it out to use. It worked for two minutes, then stopped flashing. I checked everything, connections, power supply correct, 12 volt battery, and still nothing. Opened it up, saw nothing wrong, no broken wires, and I have no idea how to check the soldered-in xenon light, so now the whole thing has gone in the rubbish bin. If something has failed internally, l which is all I can imagine, then this is a hopelessly fragile piece of equipment. I guess I need to buy a top of the line Snap On or similar to get something that will last.

Utilisé pour contrôler et régler l'avance à l'allumage de mon bi-cylindre, l'usage est simple et précis. La notice est en anglais, mais pas nécessairement utile si on sait de quoi on parle. Je regrette seulement que le réglage ne permette pas d'afficher quelques degrés d'avance en négatif (sur mon volant moteur, les repères sont calés à la valeur de l'AA et non du PMH). J'ai même pu mettre en évidence un dysfonctionnement d'une de mes bougies.

Ottimo funzionamento. Ho utilizzato la pistola per regolare la fase della mia 500 d'epoca. Solitamente la regolavo sempre a orecchio. La pistola mi ha permesso di fasare perfettamente l'accensione ed ho notato miglioramemti nel funzionamento del motore. Consiglio l'acquisto di questo prodotto anche se un po' piu'costoso specialmente per la possibilita' di impostare i gradi di anticipo. In pratica una volta impostati I gradi di anticipo come da specifiche del motore, basta puntare la pistola e verificare che le tacche di riferimento della fase appaiano allineate. In caso contrario va regolato lo spinterogeno. La luminosita della lampada e' piu che adeguata: anche lavoranndo all'aperto al sole si vede bene.

Ottima pistola stroboscopica, fa il suo dovere, un prezzo buono, grazie a questa ho potuto regolare l'anticipo al mio motore.

Lampe stroboscopique avec déphasage réglable avec une petite mollette. je l'ai acheté pour régler l'avance de l'allumage d'un moteur de 205 gti, mission réussi à merveille! Les plus : Fonctionne à merveille, lumière puissante (qui permet même le réglage en plein jour), facilité d'installation et d'utilisation. Les moins : Manque de précision sur le réglage du déphasage, extrêmement fragile Pour le prix et la marque je recommande!!!

Très bon appareil. Je l'ai testé sur une TR3 et un Bertone. Je recommande cet appareil. Son usage est aisé et de bonne ergonomie. RAS
