Update: the seller reached out to me immediately and offered to replace the pen which arrived very qickly. It writes perfectly fine. Therefore I highly recommend this set which is really rather lovely._______________Initial review:Everything is great, except..the glass pen itself is a major disappointment. I am not new to glass pens and can easily write 2+ lines with one dip, but this pen doesn't even make 1.5 short words It lays down one heavy line and then one barely visible on the next letter which makes for choppy writing. The tip is not broken, but the ink does not flow freely to it. I hope the seller sees this since I don't want to return the entire set, I just need a replacement pen. I would much rather send the pen back to the seller so it doesn't end up being resold by amazon and frustrate someone else. The set itself is pretty and the little plastic ink wells and tip-proof silicone bottoms are a great idea. The glass container is probably best suited for water to clean the tip between different inks as its lid just sits on the top. The pen itself is more of a brownish orange color, not pink, which is a bit disappointing since it could match so much better if it were a true pink.

The glass pen was beautiful and came as shown in pictures along with the other tidbits. I even got an extra inkwell as a free gift! However the glass pen, despite being carefully packaged was broken off at the end. An accident during shipping i’m sure, the glass is fragile naturally being, well. Glass. I contacted the seller and they were generous enough to ship out a replacement pen. Great customer service and wonderful product

This set arrived beautifully packaged. I should have taken a picture as everything was wrapped carefully in tissue paper with custom stickers. There is even a tag with my name handwritten.I use an oblique calligraphy pen for most of my work and was afraid the dinky dips would be too small but they are precisely the right size. The silicone bases suction nicely to my desk to prevent spills.The glass pen is filed perfectly and glides smoothly across my paper. It holds enough ink to write multiple words between dips.The flower pen rest and and glass water/ink well are both practical and pretty, they are a nice touch on my writing desk

Wow this item is really good nice size glass ink well and the bonus plastic ink well is nice too the sakura pen rest is so cute and the dip pen works writes smooth and nice to handle a little bit on the expensive side but well worth the money.would totally recommend very happy with this purchase
