AV Access KVM Switch Dual Monitor 4KSW21-DM iDock C10 8KSW21DP-DM iDock B30 Review: Switch between work and game on a button - I was annoyed about dealing with my work and life on a small screen. This KVM switch came to my eyes, actually at first time I thought it was too expensive until I finally set it up and use it. It is worth the price. What impressed me first is the build quality, it looks not cheap at all. It can switch between 2 PCs in just 2 seconds with 60Hz 4K resolution. I compared a lot before my purchase, and similar KVMs at the about price just support 30Hz 4K, excellent! BTW, it works great with my Mac and Logitech wireless mouse. Review: Very good product - Straight forward to instal and use out of box. However a remote to switch would have been improved the experience ## Features - 2×1 Dual Monitor KVM Switch: Control two PCs with a single set of keyboard, mouse, and dual monitors in extended or mirror mode to boost productivity for office tasks, gaming, or learning. - Dual Application Modes: Switch between "KVM Mode" for traditional control and "USB Mode" to display two different video sources on both monitors simultaneously, enhancing multitasking capabilities. - Built-in USB 3.0 Hub: Share up to three USB 3.0 peripherals, such as webcams, speakerphones, printers, and external drives, with a high-speed data transfer rate of up to 5Gbps. - 4K UHD & High Refresh Rates: Enjoy stunning visuals with support for up to 4K@60Hz (4:4:4), and also compatible with 1080P@240Hz, 165Hz, 144Hz, 120Hz, 60Hz, and 2560×1440@144Hz, 120Hz, 60Hz. - Fast and Flexible Switching: Easily switch between computers using the front button or keyboard hotkey, with automatic PC wake-up and EDID emulation for faster, more reliable transitions. - High Compatibility: Works with a variety of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux, providing versatile functionality for different setups. - Sleek and Durable Design: Compact and robust construction ensures long-lasting performance and complements any desktop environment. - Note: Only support Mirror Mode in MacOS. - No driver needed, plug and play. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0B72P2DBG | | Actuator Type | Hinge Lever | | Best Sellers Rank | 102,583 in Computers & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Computers & Accessories ) 344 in KVM Switches | | Brand | v AV Access | | Circuit Type | 2-way | | Colour | For 2pc 2 Monitors | | Compatible Devices | Desktop Computers (Windows, macOS, Linux), Monitors (various resolutions and refresh rates), USB Peripherals | | Connectivity Protocol | hdmi | | Connector Type | HDMI | | Connector type | HDMI | | Contact Type | Contact | | Contact type | Contact | | Control Method | Push Button | | Control Type | Manual, Keyboard | | Controller Type | Push Button | | Current Rating | 3 Amps | | Current rating | 3 Amps | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 391 Reviews | | International Protection Rating | IP54 | | Item Dimensions | 14.3 x 2.3 x 2.6 centimetres | | Manufacturer | AV Access | | Manufacturer Part Number | 4KSW21-DM | | Material | Copper, Brass, Silver | | Model Number | 4KSW21-DM | | Mounting Type | Rack Mount | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Positions | 2 | | Operating Voltage | 12 Volts (DC) | | Operating voltage | 12 Volts (DC) | | Operation Mode | MANUAL | | Operation mode | MANUAL | | Smart Home Compatibility | Not Smart Home Compatible | | Specification Met | IP54 | | Switch Type | Button Switch+hotkey Switch | | Terminal | Physical | | UPC | 795063902667 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** v AV Access - **Connector type:** HDMI - **Contact type:** Contact - **Current rating:** 3 Amps - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 14.3 x 2.3 x 2.6 centimetres - **Material:** Copper, Brass, Silver - **Operating voltage:** 12 Volts (DC) - **Operation mode:** MANUAL - **Switch type:** Button Switch+hotkey Switch - **Terminal:** Physical ## Images ![AV Access KVM Switch Dual Monitor 2 Ports 4K@60Hz, 2K@144Hz, HDMI USB 3.0 Switch Extended Display 2 Monitors 2 Computers, Ultra Wide Screen PC Keyboard Mouse Switcher, Hotkey Switch, 2 USB 3.0 Cables - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61dWNL1GFSL.jpg) ![AV Access KVM Switch Dual Monitor 2 Ports 4K@60Hz, 2K@144Hz, HDMI USB 3.0 Switch Extended Display 2 Monitors 2 Computers, Ultra Wide Screen PC Keyboard Mouse Switcher, Hotkey Switch, 2 USB 3.0 Cables - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/719kvPQQ2lL.jpg) ![AV Access KVM Switch Dual Monitor 2 Ports 4K@60Hz, 2K@144Hz, HDMI USB 3.0 Switch Extended Display 2 Monitors 2 Computers, Ultra Wide Screen PC Keyboard Mouse Switcher, Hotkey Switch, 2 USB 3.0 Cables - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71DJX4U-TnL.jpg) ![AV Access KVM Switch Dual Monitor 2 Ports 4K@60Hz, 2K@144Hz, HDMI USB 3.0 Switch Extended Display 2 Monitors 2 Computers, Ultra Wide Screen PC Keyboard Mouse Switcher, Hotkey Switch, 2 USB 3.0 Cables - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71cPzYLBnkL.jpg) ![AV Access KVM Switch Dual Monitor 2 Ports 4K@60Hz, 2K@144Hz, HDMI USB 3.0 Switch Extended Display 2 Monitors 2 Computers, Ultra Wide Screen PC Keyboard Mouse Switcher, Hotkey Switch, 2 USB 3.0 Cables - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/716WixefSlL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Will this work with dp to hdmi cables, and usb to hdmi adapter?** A: Yes, they works with this KVM switch. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good product *by M***K on 1 November 2024* Straight forward to instal and use out of box. However a remote to switch would have been improved the experience ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good kit but jammed my router *by D***L on 27 May 2023* Nothing wrong with this KVM. Nice build, sensible configuration BUT it is a powered system, i.e. what is known as a 'managed switch'. What I did not know is that these can send a router haywire and I my case I have a Sky router which does not like this device. Who knew? Well, I found out the hard way! (Sky Community also gave me helpful guidance). While the device worked fine, switching between PCs simply caused the router to drop its connection to the various Sky boxes in my house! There are fixes - apparently setting your network adapter to generate Jumbo Frames can work but not in this case - but that didn't work for me. So, thank goodness for Amazon's fabulous no quibbles returns policy. I sent it back and went for a passive device instead. That works fine. To emphasise - this was not a problem with the device itself. It worked well when my Sky boxes were offline but I could not get it to cooperate when live. As I say, nice build quality but conflicts with the Sky router. If you have a regular router that you are able to manage (Sky is fussy) then this will likely work for you. ## Frequently Bought Together - AV Access KVM Switch 2 Monitors 2 Computers, EDID Support, with USB 3.0 Hub – Control 2 PCs in Dual Monitor 4K@60Hz in Extended or Mirror Mode, HDMI Input, Fast Switching via Button/Keyboard Hotkey - BENFEI 4K DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter Pack of 10 Unidirectional DisplayPort DP Computer to HDMI Monitor Connection Adapter Compatible with Laptop PC Monitor TV Projector - Anker USB C to HDMI Adapter (4K@60Hz), 310 USB-C Adapter (4K HDMI), for MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Pixelbook, XPS, and More (Compatible with Thunderbolt 3 ports) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/486387779-av-access-kvm-switch-dual-monitor-2-ports-4k-60hz](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/486387779-av-access-kvm-switch-dual-monitor-2-ports-4k-60hz) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
