Mengshen Original Speaker Mic Microphone Compatible with Waterproof Walkie Talkie BF-A58 BF-9700 UV-9R Waterproof Walkie Talkie Two Way Radio BF-A58_M

We bought a pair of UV-5Rs earlier this year, and they have been great - they get used for numerous different purposes, from communicating with our daughter at festivals through to being used for a alternative wedding show that we are involved in for the people on the door etc. The only problem with have is that for people that are not used to them they can look a little daunting, so wanted to buy an external microphone for the one in the office at the show so that the person stationed there can use it without having to remove the radio from charging station. This does the job perfectly, just plug it in and push to talk - it's made the UV-5Rs, which were already great, even better. Quality of the mic is great, as good if not better than when you use the built-in mic.

Disappointed with this microphone. Overpriced and cheaply made. The keying up light doesn't work. Very poor.

Better than I thought it would be, a great addition to my office.Indexed something to make my communication through radios much easier as it was a great difficulty removing radios out of charge and putting them back after use just to commu icate with this kit I am able to do it without having tkmove the radio at all.That way I am prepared with a radio that is fully charged at all times in case I am needed to go under emergencies.

Cheap and cheeeful, but would prefer something larger.

This is the worst hand mic I ever used. It’s virtually impossible to hear anything.I’m general very happy with my other Baofeng stuff but this product is really poor.

I wasn't expecting much but this is really bad (will be returning shortly). It works but the speaker rattles inside the plastic casing and the connector sits slightly proud of the radio, very unlikely this is actually waterproof and using it in rain might end up damaging your radio (Which is why it gets a 1 star, absolutely zero confidence in the reliability of this thing).Avoid.

Just the job

Pleased with mics had two of them.. Seem well made and good receive audio from them plus good transmit audio from its built in mic. Ideal for job intended for.
