A Pukka and soothing throat syrup
I have flu...or Covid. I've been maxing out on everything I can to get rid. This includes Manuka honey, Vitamin C and also this Pukka Elderberry syrup. Like others its not a flavour i would expect from Elderberry, but in some ways its quite comforting and warming and certainly soothes the throat. I am hoping it speeds my recovery. One thing I wish Pukka would stop doing - although I haven't marked my rating down because of this - is putting Liquorice into literally all their products. I am diagnosed with slightly high blood pressure and liquorice is known to raise blood pressure. I like all their products but the inclusion of liquorice does limit consumption for me personally and perhaps for others who suffer from high bp.Overall the product scores 5 stars with me and I agree with other people that its a useful thing to keep in the cupboard for times of need.

I always have this in the house!
I love this stuff! I’ve always been a fan of elderberry syrup to help with a cold, but the kids brands often contain a lot of sugar. I came across this brand when my son was ill in hospital, he’d had croup then got stomatitis, he was in for a week and couldn’t eat anything, the doctors gave him a lot of steroids antibiotics and antivirals none of which helped and his health got worse. I looked up natural remedies to his weak chest, asthma, low immune system and stomatitis, a lot that came up were in this little bottle. He got better quicker after starting this, we always keep it in the house and 3 years on he’s never had croup again and never been back to hospital. Great for viruses, bad chests, inflammation, coughs, colds and when your run down. Quite a strong flavour, easy to hide in blackcurrant juice or smoothie. Ps it contains liquorice check your allowed to take it.

Brilliance in a bottle! 👌
This is now my 3rd buy of this stuff & I can honestly say I will never use the rubbish high street stuff again... This genuinely works wonders!First time I used I started it abit late, ment to use from beginning or your cold etc, I left mine and it turned into a full blown chest infection, I could barely breath and coughing so much was making me sick, I bought this and by day 3 (takes a few days to properly get in the system, I find within 3 days a big difference) by day 3 I was SO much better, within a week the cough nearly clear but still niggling with a tight chest I continued to use and it went away completely without need for more antibiotics! This time I've ordered as soon as I felt it coming, it's started bad like the last one but has developed into nothing, day 4 now and mucus is a hell of alot less, cough is disappearing and head clearer.I love this stuff, recommend to everyone! All natural too, bonus!

Good, needs dropper
Ideally wanted ivy leaf but aware elderberry is also good. A little overpriced. The bottle could also really do with a dropper, it would be much easier and less messy to take. On the plus side it’s organic and tastes pleasant. I was unfortunately already down with a cold before I found this, but I do believe it has helped hold my cough back. My mum has a persistent cough which bronchial soothe ivy leaf cough syrup once got rid of, it’s impossible to find here in the UK and this hasn’t had the same effect but will ensure she continues to take it.

Pukka Herbs Elderberry Syrup
I bought Pukka Herbs Elderberry Syrup for £11.60. It’s an organic blend with manuka honey, ginger and thyme, and it’s suitable for the whole family from age 2+. The taste is quite pleasant, not too strong or artificial. The 100 ml bottle is small but easy to use. It feels decent quality with non-GM, vegetarian ingredients. At that price it’s okay value, especially with Amazon Prime delivery and returns. I’d say it’s fine for occasional use, though the bottle does not last very long.

fabulous natural medicine
fully recommend in treating of colds and prevention. My daughter is susceptible to colds and snuffles going to her chest lasting weeks. Last year she had a cold and cough for 6 weeks and I didn't want her on antibiotics and was more upper respiratory issue. Tried this and amazed at results within days. She and I also caught an aircraft cold later in the summer and both took it. Neither of us developed full blown cold which i know she would have done. My third proof was she started school in September i used a preventative daily dose prior school and during first few weeks- I think she was the only one not getting a cold in her class. I have a bottle in medicine cabinet.

Too much thyme in this batch
This is the 5th time I have bought this product to boost my immune system. This particular batch has a very strong thyme flavour much stronger than previous so I add more water to dilute it.

Seems to work!
It is a bit strongly tasting of thyme but thyme is very medicinal so its all good. Usually I take syrups in some hot water but the thyminess made this not my best option for this product, so just take it neat. Have been taking eloderberry syrup all winter and whether or not by dint of this or just by chance, I have not had a single cold nor any of these horrible lurgies people have been getting that linger and come back for more. I had been taking a home-made version but it ran out so I'm glad there was this one to turn to!
