Toddler Bed with Mattress Removable Side Panels

This bed arrived damaged after very long shipping times so wasnt happy but seller got me to check everything including screws to see what needed to be replaced and sent new parts to replace the ones that were damaged without having to worry about return. Seller was very quick to respond and polite.The bed when assembled looks very nice, but i do worry about the sturdiness of it. There are significantly large gaps between the parts where its screwed in and nothing really sits flush. We have had this bed in use for a good few weeks and have decided to disassemble and reassemble to see if we can get it all sitting flush. The bed is very squeeky, but this may be due to the gaps.In terms of the mattress, dont go out and buy one you will be wasting your money as I did. I saw the reviews and thought it may be best to buy a better mattress and used that on night 1. None of us got any sleep because my daughter was crying all night and tossing and turning. The next day i took the mattress off and used the foam one that comes with the bed and we have all had great nights since. If you squeeze the mattress with your hands your fingers will touch, but if you lie on it (im 60kg) then it feels incredibly firm and you dont sink in due to the weight being more evenly distributed through the length of the mattress. I dont expect this mattress will last a very long time but seeing as its just foam, you can easily replace it at a low cost. I usually sit on the end of the bed when putting my daughter to sleep at night and after a few weeks ive noticed that the foam on that end has a dip in it now but its still perfect at the top where my daught lies so i would expect that if only the child uses it and adults refrain from sitting on it, then it will keeps its form.The bed so far is great but its only chipboard so its not going to take a beating well so avoid any and all bouncing on the bed.The height is perfect for a 2 year old and so is the size of the bed. My very tall 2 year old has plenty of room to fidget and roll around and barely takes up half the width or length so as long as its hold together, it will last until she is much bigger.I particulary like the removable sides. The one side can just be lifted off, and the other side can be unscrewed but both can be easily removed. This is a feature that is unique and was the reason i bought this bed.The slats need to be nailed to the frame which is a pain, particularly if you move houses. Without being nailed down, they are loose and will easily fall down taking the mattress and child with it so make sure you secure the slats properly before use.Its quite a heavy bed so assembly in the final destination is advised. Assembly with 2 people is highly recommended but can be done (with difficulty) by 1 person within an hour. Be gentle when screwing the bed together as you may split the chip board with too much force.Instructions could be clearer but you will manage.Overall im eased with it.

My son loves his new bed. Easy to put together. Delivery time however is not good , Was over 5weeks b4 I received th bed. For that reason I wouldn’t recommend this product.

nice little bed we had screws missing after two attempts to get them they finaly arrived but now one of slats has broken on the bed my daughter has possibly splet in this bed 6 times as she tends to prefer my bed so not impressed that a slat broken already in such short time of usage

Ok bed for the price. Screws are hard to get in, in a couple of places to actually screw the bed together. Sturdy enough once slats are nailed in place. Mattress is just a piece of foam, will after replace. Delivery could be quicker considering the price for delivery. My 17mnth old seems pleased enough tho.

My little girls loves her bed. It was really easy and simple to put together. She sleeps all night where as before I was up at least 3 times

What a fantastic little bed. Sturdy and well made. Love the fact there is a bed guard the whole length of one side and the moveable bed guard for the other side is a decent length unlike other toddler beds I've looked at. My daughter loves it. Shame delivery took so long but worth the wait.

Bought this for my little boy and would absolutely recommend! Delivery was 2 weeks but was worth the wait, its easy to assemble and comes with everything you need, amazing quality and looks great and the mattress is super soft. Best money I've ever spent.
