Charles Bentley 100L Slimline Garden Water Butt Set with Stand, Black

This is a great little water butt for a small space, good looking, compact and sturdy, and its exactly what I was looking for, because with the price of water going through the roof, instead of money literally going down the drain, I decided to collect all the cold water that runs for ages through the tap before it gets hot when the heating is off, and all the miscellaneous bits of water that I throw away, like when I change the water in the pets water bowl, I collect it and pour it into the water butt outside and it's surprising how quickly it's filling up, and I will use the saved water to water the garden.

Decent enough item, easy to assemble and tap works fine. Was going to drill and cable tie base as per some of the reviews but it didn’t need it. On flat surface it holds together fine. Couldn’t use butt to pipe kit as it’s for circular down pipes and ours is square but apart from that good value for money. Recommended

The water butt itself isn’t of the highest quality but does the job well. The fitting to the Downpipe was easy to fit but I installed a new wall bracket to the Downpipe just above the fitting as once this was installed the pipe seemed very wobbly.The stand that come with this is one of those four piece stands that ‘clip’ together. I had no confidence in this stand, partly because it does not provide a flat surface for the butt to stand on. I have a feeling that overtime the weight of the water, pressing down into the hole in the middle of the stand will eventually cause the butt to break. I replaced the stand with a one piece type from a well know DIY store and this gave a sturdy base.

I like this as its slim and very easy to install. I only needed a small one to wash and refill water feature in garden and few plants. When it’s empty its really light and will blow over so i would suggest tying it to a fence with something i have used bungy rope lol but it’s stayed in place when empty and windy so win win

An ingenious rain water diverter/over-flow system means a single connection from the down guttering (by removing a section and replacing it with the provided collar) to the butt. The butt requires drilling at one of two alternative locations for the other end of the connection. (I used a 25mm bit for a really snug fit -27mm was recommended ).The stand is fiddly to put together but sturdy once done just needs to be assembled at its final location and on a firm level surface as it falls apart if trying to move afterwards.Leak free tap with a good flow- once a good head of water is in the butt. The tap hole was only partially drilled so had to re-drill myself but not a big deal.Very happy with purchase and clever and simple system for connection although instructions very brief and not fully informative.Would recommend.

Works well shame the hole doesn’t come pre-drilled would have just made it a bit easier.

A really useful addition to the garden. Easy enough to assemble but an extra pair of hands are useful when juggling with the base. Sturdy enough when it contains water, but take care when positioning as light enough to be blown over by gusty winds, so protect from wind if possible.Very good value for money and well made.

Buenos materiales, echo de menos que no venga en más colores para elegir pero lo he podido pintar con pintura de spray sin problemas. La función de recogida de agua de lluvia funciona perfectamente, aunque tuve que inventar un adaptador para el diámetro de mi bájate de aguas pluviales.

Buena capacidad, buen montaje para la recoleccion de agua. El grifo, todo y ser un poco rustico hace su funcion.Como negativo, o no, es que el depósito tiene el centro del cuerpo muy ligero, que no tengo claro lo que va s durar.
