Quiet, easy to use
My pupper allowed me to drummel his nail and wasn't scared of the tool. Great value as i will be saving on grooming fees. The design is easy to use and safe. It works very well and the size and weight are not difficult to maneuver. It seems to be durable.

Great purchase and experience
This fits in your hand well, the battery life is forever and it works well. They designed a little plastic piece to go over the dremmel head so you don’t trim to short, it’s pretty quiet on lower settings and easy to use. It seems like it was toughly designed and quality plastic. There is a smell when you grind but that’s expected. The owner is kind and reached out to send a how to and to make sure I was satisfied with the product.

Works great!
Had it for a year now and still files nails like it’s brand new! It’s not super loud and it’s great even for filing large breed nails. I have a Doberman and it does a great job at filing his nails. The battery is durable and will last you a couple days before you have to charge it.

Works great for us.
Much quieter than a dremel is the big plus. 20 lb yorkie type tolerates it pretty well. My dog has longer hair and our old trimmer, with no safety cap ran the risk of catching long ear hair. At first I was apprehensive about using the safety cap with the small hole for nails. But the led lights are such a help. The battery does seem to drain quickly and charge slowly. However it lasts to do all the nails with no problem. I've had it for 3 months and used it several times. Very comfortable in the hand as well. For the price I'm super happy with it. It has not been a wrestling match to do the nails with it being much quieter. And it is much safer with the safety cap. The diamond grinder is much more efficient than the sand paper type attachments. I would buy it again.

Works great, pretty quiet
Works great, LOVE that it's rechargeable. I get two (or more) nail trimming sessions from one charge, and charging is easy. I recharge overnight as it does take a bit if the battery is low. There are 6 speeds, we usually use #3 for our 45 lb hound mix. Our dog doesn't seem to mind the sound or feel - as long as he's distracted enough with his lick pad! The opening on the guard was too small for our pup's nails, so my husband used a Dremmel to make it a little bigger and it's perfect (I am reluctant to take the guard completely off). It comes with a nice cover when not in use. The lights on it are somewhat helpful, but I use a headlamp to get light where I really need it anyway.

GET IT NOW
although it is quiet, i thought it would be even more quiet! It will work for one of my dogs . But I have a big scaredy cat dog who is scared of the refridgerator door opening! Ya, I know, she was dumped in the middle of the country on a gravel road. I think that might be her problem, But, back to the grinder, it works great and I love the 6 speeds. Great value! I highly recommend! Groomers in my area are charging over $25.00 to cut nails!

A more powerful grinder for tougher nails
I am already the owner of the original orange Casfuy, which is an awesome grinder for my chihuahuas. It's quiet, comforting to them, and it gets the job done. They much prefer it to the clippers. In fact, 2 of my chis fall asleep during the nail grinding session.Recently, we took my sister-in-law's dog in to foster while she is in a nursing home. Bigger dog = bigger, tougher nails. So, when I saw that this Casfuy was stronger, I jumped on it. It really gets the job done. If I have to nitpick, it is a little louder than the orange model, and it is a bit heavier. Unless you have problems with your wrists or your grip, you probably won't notice. There is a rotary dial at the base to adjust the speed of the grinder, as opposed to the original's simple on off slide switch, with a low and a high setting. I may be just used to the slide, but I prefer it to the dial. With the slide I can adjust with just my thumb while grooming. With the rotary dial, it takes 2 hands to change the speed, one to hold and one to twist. When you're holding onto a dog that isn't certain about this nail grinding thing and looking for a chance to escape... You get the idea. One really nice feature on this newer model is the extra bright light. On nails that aren't completely black, it really helps you see where the quick is in relation to the nail. I can't speak to the guard function. I take those things off because I've heard horror stories about dogs getting their nails caught in the guards of other grinders. And this one works great without the guide. I like to round the end of the nail completely, and this lets me do that. I also can't speak to battery life. Since I have so many dogs to do. I keep it plugged into an extension cord while in use, and we just keep humming along.Overall, I'd give this grinder 4.5 out of 5 stars, but since I can't actually give a half star, this gets rounded up to 5. If Casfuy reads these reviews, I'd love to see a re-design with a sliding thumb switch. I love this product.
