Amazing characters and loads of lovely tropes
This book was everything I had hoped it would be. We had haters to lovers and enemies to lovers, we had court politics and royal bickering, we had siblings we could or couldn't trust, we had typical Fae behavior and we had a human heroine who was exactly the right mix of strong, fierce and healthily afraid. On top of that we also had a plot that seemed quite simple at the start, but turned out to be a little more complicated when we reached the finale. I do hope that in the next book in the series we get to see a little more of the world. The characters made up for everything though. I can't wait to dive into the next one.

Disappointed
When I read the back of the book I was really interested in the story. But the way it’s been written is really disappointing. The world that the author has created is not properly explained. There are multiple grammatical errors & just plain hypocrisies when it comes to the story itself. It’s not fleshed out properly. I would not recommend at all. If your looking for something similar and well written I’d recommend The Queen of The Tearling series. Now those books you can’t put down.

Just brilliant
I enjoyed this book so much I devoured it in one sitting, the suspense and the ability to have you turning pages continuously was mond blowing.
