Great salt

What can you say more than being a happy and satisfied user after all. It’s sheer happiness and peace of mind. The pricing for this quality product is extremely good. You can’t really get with such great product either the product will be cheap made or pricing would be really high. When I opted to switch to make my own salt water rather than buying ready made ones from LFS which was costing me more in all aspects, went through all the leading brands and this product struck my sight. Tried it on trial basis with just 10 kg refill pack. I’m about to go for the 20 kg bucket on my second purchase very soon. I don’t even use RO/DI Water. Just use normal tap water with water conditioner. My marine tanks look great and fantastic than using with ready made salt water. I tried with both RO/DI water and normal tap water really didn’t find any great difference. So I recommend this product for people who want to try. No hesitation and no send thinking guys. Go get it.

This salt is much cheaper than other brands of reef salt. I had used the Red Sea Reef Coral Pro for years - this salt keeps my corals just as happy. The only practical difference is that it takes a little longer to dissolve / mix. With regards to the opening of the tubs as mentioned on some of the reviews - yes, it's a little harder to open. But really its hardly a deal breaker. In essence cheaper and just as good as Red Sea Reef Coral Pro. Thumbs up from me.

Without doing a chemical analysis it's difficult to know what you're getting...I think we just have to trust the manufacturer. We may see a thriving reef when using this salt, but there are so many factors involved in that. It would take a third party to run this salt through a mass spectrometer to see what is is composed of. It is however my go to marine salt.

Used to use Red Sea Coral Pro at a much higher price but cannot see any difference after switching to this. Several lfs did same I cannot fault it. Having read the reviews about the annoying buckets ie impossible to open I have only ever ordered the refill no bucket problem solved. I think all of us have heaps of salt buckets everywhere reuse them rather than using more plastic. If you don’t have a bucket go online get a bucket with lid in the size you want and keep it for your salt and just buy this 10kg or the 20kg refill then you won’t need a hammer drill to get into it 😃. The salt itself mixed well and mixed fast. For best results get your water in and pump going first get the water moving then put your salt in. This prevents salt collecting on the bottom. This is true of all salts . I don’t have sps not a fan, I have soft corals , lps, Anemone. Fish some quite sensitive, shrimps, urchins etc and I have not noticed any detrimental effects from switching salts.

Sal de muy buena calidad, se presenta en una caja de cartón bien embalada donde viene el saco de plástico que contiene la sal. Me gusta los niveles tan buenos que deja en el acuario y se disuelve rápido. Un precio increíble.
