Great to see when headlights coming towards you! Or when the sun is flashing through the trees as it is fully covered at the sides too! They look great on very sturdy and great value and fit.

5 stars for service and how the sunglasses look and fit, particularly over my spectacles. Unfortunately, due to the weather we are experiencing at the moment, they have not been tested for effectiveness as sunglasses!

They are good. They bend round face so you dont get sun in the side of eye. They do block sun well. Feel bit plasticy which they are but overall good for money.

After recent cataract surgery I needed one lens removed from the frames of my prescription glasses, until I have surgery on the other eye. This meant that the remaining lens went dark in the sunlight These over glasses sunglasses fit perfectly and solve the problem. They look good and the frames under them can’t be seen. Also they are reasonably priced and will still be useful in the future.

I wore these for the 5 mins of sun we had today. They are well made and I was really pleased with the polarised effect, which I prefer. Like the fit over my own prescription glasses. Would definitely recommend

I was very impressed with these when they arrived. They are light and sit over my glasses very well. I was driving a distance and once I started out these were very good kept sun of my face (especially at the side) but prolonged use I found I had a headache. They tend to put pressure on my glasses and I had a noticeable dent in the side of my head. The idea behind these is great and they do start out being comfortable but any length of time wearing them is definitely not great. I am disappointed because I needed to wear them to discover that they are no good.

I don't like wearing contact lenses as they dry my eyes terribly and they make my eyes tired pretty fast so as a constant spectacle wearer, I had been looking for a good pair of over-sunglasses to keep out the glare. I've bought several over-sunglasses from different manufacturers and of different makes but none of them satisfied me as well as this Rapid Eyewear pair for 2 main reasons:- 1) The over-sunglasses here are very light-weight and they don't tend to weigh down my glasses when worn over them. It is unbelievable how many just a bit more weight on other over-sunglasses can make a difference to whether your own spectacles end up sliding off your nose and you have to constantly keep pushing them up to keep them in place - not to mention that the extra weight can eventually give you a headache or pinch your nose bridge too hard! The light-weight Rapid Eyewear pair was the only one which was not too weighty on my own specs and I found myself preferring it to every other pair of over-sunglasses I bought. 2) The good shade coverage. This is particularly key for the top part that sits directly on top of your spectacles, just above your eyebrows. I found that Rapid Eyewear over-sunglasses had good enough shade coverage that it cuts out a lot of glare and shine coming from above and above-side. My other pairs of over-sunglasses had partial coverage in this area which didn't really cut out all the glare. I'd like Rapid Eyewear to have a little bit more top coverage because there's still a fraction of light and glare coming through from the top but compared to my other pairs of over-sunglasses, these were the best. The only unfortunate bit is that I bought my first pair of Rapid Eyewear over-sunglasses about 1 year ago and after a while the brown plastic plates at the side of the glasses shrivelled and fell off on both the left and right sides! I can still wear them as those side plates are far back enough from the eyes (they're around the temple area of the face) so that any glare that cannot be filtered out from that angle is fairly minimal. But still, my spectacle frames underneath are exposed and the occasional side glare filters through. I had to buy myself a 2nd pair as a replacement for more presentable use, but I still use the 1st pair for casual or quick outings as it is still serviceable. This is why I am docking off 1 star from my rating and giving the product 4 out of 5 stars. If the side plastic plates did not shrivel and drop off over time, I would have given this product a full 5 out of 5 and recommend it to everyone looking for a good pair of over-sunglasses.
