Check fittings before ordering!! -Sounds, strange but a useful tip
The review which said they had to send their light bulb back was useful as it made me recheck the fittings. Definitely worth doing before ordering. As never realised the number of different combinations of fittings that are out there!!The bulb works well.

This Osram Dulux 4-Pin light Bulb is a reliable and efficient lighting solution. However, the cool white light may not be suitable for those preferring a warmer ambiance. However I think the bulb colour is a bit too warm but overall if you prioritize energy efficiency and durability, this Osram bulb is worth considering for your lighting needs.

Good alternative to the expensive GE version
I have a GX24q-1 light in my hallway and the original GE bulb started flickering so I knew it was time to replace it. Those GE versions of the bulb are super expensive so I found this alternative here. I have to say I can't tell the difference between this and the original bulb. Both seem to have the same colour temperature and both turn off and on at similar speeds.So far I cannot fault this. Now the GE original lasted nearly 10 years so we'll see how long I get out of this. Even half of that would be fine though for the price.
