Review: What do you expect?! - First of all before I begin my review I want to say that I absolutely love this speaker and actually I love Soundcore products period! The app really is a cool extra that is provided with some of their products and is a major plus with BT speakers of this status and I think all speakers of this price range and higher should have an eq app it makes such a difference and lets a consumer know that the company is confident enough in their product that they give the user the opportunity to tweak and play around with what they want in the sound of their music. I feel Soundcore is doing just that and I really appreciate this. I really am a believer in the saying "you can't compliment a positive with a negative" but in this case I must and is necessary ! I purchased this speaker highly on the party lights and what they're supposed to be doing and well they're NOT doing ! I am not sure if my expectations are set super high but they do not dance in sync with the music that I am playing and I play all genre of music. It is really frustrating especially when I have reached out to the company as suggested by the company and the help is not there. I do not like to have to work for something that I have already worked to pay for and I expect should already be doing what it is advertised to do . This may be something minor to some people but as I stated earlier in this review , I based my purchase on the party lights and knowing because it is Soundcore that the sound would not disappoint and it has not . This is probably why I did not return this speaker because it really sounds great and the speaker itself is just so damn good looking ! I feel that customer support was very lacking and I really wanted to take a point away for that reason and that reason only ! I am not sure what happened with my party lights but I can say that everything else is an A+. So despite the party lights (it may just be me), I would highly recommend this BT speaker...great product!

Also took it down the river did not skip a beat had no issues from the water, so yes it is waterproof. The one thing that would make it better is if I could connect it to soundcore trance, it's a few years older and a bit bigger and not as long of a battery life, but it's just as loud and works the same. I will eventually buy more of these since you can li k them together but it would be nice to be able to connect the one I already have.

**Q: How long does it last on the highest volume ?**
A: Good question, but I dont actually have the answer. Let me just say this, our family LOVES LOUD MUSIC and weve never even topped this one off. Its very loud and has great base/treble. As far as battery life goes, not too sure as weve never run the battery dry during use. This lil speaker is a gem all the way around!!! Honestly, i dont think youll regret this purchase. The base price at one point was $125 (a steal) and then seemed to hike up $50 overnight (still worth the money in my opinion - just wished we had snagged it for less). Price hike likely due to demand.

**Q: Need a longer charge cord (10ft), Anybody find a cord they recommend with no compatabilty issues?**
A: Unfortunately, we are just a distributor for this product and do not have an answer for that question. I would recommend reaching out to the products manufacturer for this type of information.

**Q: It is a bluetooth speaker w/ a usb connection.  does that just charge devices or does it act as a usb host that can play music files off a usb drive?**
A: I believe it does
