Absolutely delighted with this product. It is exactly what I wanted. Easy to put up with the tape provided and very effective against those pesky flying insects. I wanted this particularly for my top windows as I like to leave them open for fresh air as much as possible. Of course without any protection in come the flies! I can't stand them. They seem to get everywhere and make a beeline for food. I can now leave food on the worktop to defrost without worrying about it being attacked by pests. A very fine mesh product that to me is a godsend.Great product, very inexpensive and is hardly noticeable when it is in place on the windows. My neighbour had to get really close before he was able to see that my windows were fully protected against the flying pests.

I bought this to cover my bedroom window during our unusually hot summer this year. It was easy to fit and worked great! I could leave my window open overnight to stay cool, without worrying about creatures of the night coming in! Result!The downside for me, is when I tried to remove the tape from my pvc window frame after summer, it stuck fast and left a sticky residue which I'm still trying to scrub off. The tape is a little TOO sticky. I've kept the net and will probably buy a new roll of tape for next summer.

mesh is very thin, so tears easily when pulled from the velco (for example when you lift it to open a window). Velcro is also very flimsy. I believe I would have been better off going to my local fabric store and buying adhesive velcro and mesh myself.

I've used this around the house to spider proof the windows. Instead of using the supplied Velcro type stuff I've bought 2 lots of multipole magnetic tape. One lot is narrow and is attached to the window frame, the other is much wider and holds the mesh in place.Now, if you don't have a hot glue gun I suggest you buy one. Our wooden window frames are like Teflon.....nothing sticks to them. So I've had to carefully put a bead of the glue all around the edges of the tape to make sure it sticks and it's worked.For the mesh part, I used the wide magnetic strip to hold the mesh in place all around, without stretching it, and folded the mesh back around the tape and stuck it down onto the sticky back of the tape. I then smeared the hot glue over the surface of the tape and cut off the excess mesh.The result is a long lasting screen that is easily pulled back, snaps back into place and is completely insect proof.

In short, this isn't a product you should buy if you'd like your mesh 'screen' to stay up for longer than an hour. Persevered for a day but the key flaw here is the adhesive strips - they're not able to hold the mesh or stay stuck to window frames. Also, the mesh is extremely hard to work with - technically it's flimsier than dressmaker's netting, so very hard to measure and cut. In principle this is a good idea to keep wasps out of bathrooms. However, in practice it's not a sustainable solution.

Amazing value for money, net and sticky strip come separately and you fit it to your window. During the summer it did an absolutely amazing job of keeping out flies and thunder bugs. Really sticky, didn't move despite lots of use,opening windows ect. Didn't have any problems with the sticky strip, but if it came off it came with no spares. However I didn't have an issue and it was super useful.

net is good quality but velcro tape is a let down... After sticking the tape onto my patio door (free from dust and damn as i clean the surface & dried) within few hours the adhesive on the velcro tape gave away.

I never write reviews, but having just installed these nets on my bedroom windows, I wanted to say how fabulous they are! So easy to install. Simple, yet so effective. I have a newborn baby so didn’t want to open the bedrooms windows at night with all the bugs, but now we can! Fantastic, cheap product.
