A favorite restaurant that served smoked meat closed. Missing the flavor, I began smoking meat at home. Whether it was in my charcoal grill or in the Ninja Woodfire grill, these pellets add some very fine flavors to the meat. My grills are small, and I smoke meat for my lunches. My local grocer most often has beef roast on sale, so that is typically my main choice. I am fairly new at smoking meats and have not branched out to other varieties yet. These Ninja all-purpose pellets are expensive pellets, yet add great flavors. I have tried a couple other pellet and chip blends and will keep searching for others that also add great flavor. It's part of the journey towards the ultimate flavor experience! I hope you enjoy your flavor quest as much as I am. Enjoy!

I think I like the all purpose blend the best. The hickory is a bit strong. These are very easy to use and SMOKE a lot. The little chimney is blasting away. Smoked burgers, chicken and prime rib roast. All GOOD I'm no grill expert, but cook a lot and love beef.

The pellets burn nicely in the woodfire grill, reduce to a fine ash that is easy to dump out of the pellet hopper and it seems to take about 45 minutes for them to burn down to ash. They impart a mild smoke flavor on the meat that is pleasing but I only gave them 4 stars because I like a bit stronger smoke flavor on the meat that I smoke. They are just a bit "bland" for my taste but they do impart a light smokey flavor to your meat.
