A good choice and great value.
Much better than I expected. I used to have a Boss DS1 and didn't like the sound. This however, used on a low distortion setting and after my Behringer Vintage tube overdrive (which btw is excellent) produces a thick but "pleasantly dirty" sound just right for blues rock. It's dead useful that it has EQ settings too. A good choice.

Don't Believe the Lack of Hype
I'm updating this review to reflect how my opinion has changed over time: this is the best Wah for bass currently being sold, regardless of price. As with most Behringer products this is massively underpriced even with the budget cutting materials. It doesn't feel weak or tacky, I have a Morley too and even though it's basically two slabs of material that you can jump on if you like I don't feel anxious when I switch to the behringer, it's solid. I use many wahs in many wahs. The hellbabe goes so well after my distortion chain, I can either avoid the upper range by using the frequency control or control that fuzz and get some excellent bass stabs that cut through when I need them to. It isn't as fun on its own as my Morley or My George Dennis but as part of a chain this pedal is so versatile and truly works as a true bass wah or as a lead wah for distorted bass that sits high in the mix. As you can see from my photos I have a good frame of reference. Most of my pedals are Boss, EHX or they are amazing pedals from companies that are famous in other areas, like Fender or Marshall. Behringer pedals hold their own, this and the tube modeller are overpowered for their price, and the sansamp copy isn't awful either.

Great sound, easy to use - watch out for battery drain
Good value, and greta wah sound. Easy to switch between wah and no wah wah. One small thing, you need to disconnect the battery if you don't want to drain it instantly when not in use

HM2 on a budget
This pedal is amsolutely fantastic for the price. Pure HM2 grind! Everything dimed but dial the mid knob back ever so slightly to get that original Boss HM2 tone. Shame its plastic.

Ok if it worked
Sadly I got the high pitched whining noise as soon as I plugged it in, tried different amps, guitars and cables just in case but same problem

GOOD PERFORMANCE
Very good for price performance it's affordable and I can literally get any tone I wanted with this. İt has a very good sound quality it doesn't have delay the brightness is adjustable and the tone accuracy is very good also with my marshall amp I can't get the tones I wanted now I can with this one

Unbeatable vibrato for the money.
Fairly well documented now that this is more or less identical to the pedal it's based on which is many times the price. If you want to try vibrato on a budget it really is the only pedal for the job. Covers everything from a subtle movement to underwater sci fi noise weirdness.

Brilliant and versatile once you've figured out how to get it set up
Great piece of kit, works very well, unfortunately getting it to do what you want takes some time, especially as it does not come with anything resembling a manual, but once you've got there it's perfect. Programming it is frankly a pain in the neck, even with a PC editor. I do, however reccomend downloading a free PC Editor, because otherwise, as far as I can tell, buttons 1-5 can only be programmed as programme change (PC) functions, buttons 6 and 7 can only be control change (CC) functions and 10 can only be notes. As I wanted only CC functions I had to use a PC Editor to programme it, one bank at a time, which took a while, but I'm now very happy with my setup. Pros: -Versatile - with around 100 buttons (10 buttons x 10 banks), plus expression pedals, and being able to programme (with an editor), PCs, CCs and notes, this thing can do a hell of a lot -Sturdy - built very well -Functional - it works Cons: -Programming is tedious, especially if you're not familiar with MIDI controls -Hefty - takes up a fair bit of space and isn't exactly lightweight either. I haven't had to move it around town yet, but I don't expect that'll be trivial - No manual, which is just laziness on the part of the manufacturer It's a good piece of hardware and I can't really fault it, but, to a non-engineer, it looks as though it wouldn't have been too difficult to make it better, e.g. by letting you select whether you wanted PC or CC control for any given button or simply providing some instruction on how to programme it
