Fed up with cheep sprayers that either don't work well or not at all. This is a reliable sprayer that is easily controlled and will last a long time (my second after original still works after many years). It can be self-maintained, which is quite novel these days.

Brilliant little device

The sprayer refused to hold its pressure, despite tightening it strongly. I put it in a bucket of water and found that air was leaking between the two halves, so I tightened it as tightly as I could, and it finally worked. You must tighten it VERY tightly for it to work, which is why I only gave it four stars.

Good quality, well made sprayer. Still working great after many uses, Used mostly for weed killer.Edit. I've changed this from 4 to 5 stars. Still working really well after over a year. As previously stated it's mostly been used for weed killer. But also I've used with wood worm treatment. It's a very handy size to move around with.

Strong, great quality, pump action easy to use

I have two of these spray bottles now and I use one for weedkiller (kept in the tool shed) and the other one for neem oil (kept in the greenhouse).As I've been gardening for a few years I've gone through lots of poor quality tools and quite a few spray bottles which have not been very good.However, these spray bottles from Hozelock are a class apart - very well made and they will last me for many more years so I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting a good quality spray bottle.Just remember that if you own more than one of these spray bottles you need to mark which one has the weedkiller in. I've done that (see picture and video) so I don't forget which one is which since the last thing I want to do is murder all my tomatoes and chilies in the greenhouse with weedkiller and try to kill the weeds with neem oil.You only get what you pay for and from experience I can honestly say that if you spend half the money you get half the product. These are the real deal.

Decent capacity and I like the pressure thing which saves on repetitive strain (well, one type anyway, you still have to pump it). However, as others have said the spray pattern is disappointing. It is good at producing a jet but not at producing a mist. It produces a fairly course spray at best and that with the nozzle tightened down as far as it will go. The spray nozzle is plastic. I thought it would be metal at this price, but, re-reading the advert it says "metal pumping stem". Well, who cares about that and what is it anyway! So given that the spray nozzle is plastic and the only way to get something approaching a mist out of it is to tighten it as much as you can I think I have stressed it and now it's cracked and it looks like this quite expensive pressure sprayer will soon be useless other than as a jet sprayer, but even as a (as jet sprayers go) fairly weak jet sprayer I'm not sure if there's anything I'd use it for. Overall disappointed. It's well past the amazon return date, though still within a year so I will contact Hozelock directly and see if they will help me.

Ich bin es leid. Im Baumarkt oder Gartencenter liegen für 2 bis 7 Euro Sprühflaschen für Pflanzen in der Wühlkiste oder ordentlich im Regal eingeräumt. Gutgläubig kaufte ich solche Artikel mit und stellte jedes Mal fest, dass selbst die Sprühflasche mit Glasreiniger aus dem Lebensmittel-Discounter 200% besser funktioniert und sogar günstiger ist.Die "günstigen" Sprühflaschen aus Baumarkt und Gartencenter waren meist nicht richtig dicht, die Hand wurde nass und es war sehr mühsam das Wasser aus den Flaschen herauszuwürgen, um die Grünpflanzen zu befeuchten. Der erwartete Sprühnebel entpuppte sich lediglich als ein paar Schwache Spritzer mit ein paar größeren und kleinen Tropfen, wobei subjektiv 30% davon an den Fingern herunterliefen. Ob die Flasche ein falsches Verhältnis von Wasserdruck oder Luftdruck hat, kann ich nicht sagen - ich bin weder Ingenieur, noch Physiker.Die Amazon Bewertung "Spritzen ja, Sprühen nein" ließ mich an der Entscheidung für dieses Produkt sehr zweifeln. Auch der Preis ist im Vergleich zum "billigen" Gartencenter-Artikel vergleichsweise hoch. Ich wollte schließlich einen Artikel, der seine Aufgabe ordentlich ausführt! Beim ersten Sprühen kam auch bei mir nur ein dicker Strahl, wie aus der Wasserpistole vom Kinderspielzeugfachgeschäft. Nachdem ich die Düse nur leicht-handfest hineingedreht hatte, verwandelte sich der dicke Wasserstrahl in einen sanften Sprüh-"Nebel". Naja, so ein richtiger Nebel ist es eigentlich nicht. Ein sanfter Regen mit ganz feinen, verstäubten Regentropfen trifft es eher zu. Auf ZDF gab es eine Sendung (Volle Kanne), wo eine Sprühflasche gezeigt wurde, die echten Nebel erzeugen konnte! Hersteller oder Modell wurden leider nicht genannt. Aber dieser leichte, feine Regen aus diesem Pumpsprüher reicht mir völlig! Genau das habe ich gesucht.Ich bin sehr zufrieden! Der Pumpsprüher lässt sich leicht bedienen, mit einem Liter Wasser kann ich im Büro insgesamt 12 große Pflanzen einsprühen, sodass Wasser schon von den Blättern tropft und man muss nicht lange pumpen, bis das Wasser aus der Flasche kommt. Beim längeren Sprühen kann man die Schalter arretieren, was den Komfort nochmal erheblich steigert!Eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung. Wer billig kauft, kauft zwei mal (oder öfter...) !Wie von Amazon Prime gewohnt: Heute bestellt, morgen da! Vielen Dank!

Oubliez les jouets pour le jardin fabriqués par Gloria ou Gardena qui ne durent pas, les pulvérisateurs HOZELOCK sont d'un tout autre calibre. En ce qui concerne celui-ci, avec sa pompe à pression et sa contenance de 1,25 litres, on a à sa disposition un outil bien conçu avec une cuve en plastique bien épais qui encaisse la pression, les chocs comme les chutes. Grâce à la pompe, vous le mettez en pression et pouvez ensuite l'utiliser sans crampe avec son bloqueur de détente. La buse est réglable (différents degrés de vaporisation ou jet plus ou moins puissant), démontable et donc aisément détartrable ou débouchable si vous utiliser autre chose que de l'eau. Le tout est bien ergonomique. Attention néanmoins à le vider lors des mois froids d'hiver afin que le gel ne vienne pas fragiliser les éléments de sa partie haute. Un MUST !
