This is a rewrite of an earlier review I left for this item. As you can read below, I had some issues which the seller solved adequately. Due to the recent experience, I felt a rewrite was in order.---With two new, young, hyperactive, and very curious kittens in the house, my wife and I figured it would be a good idea to get an indoor catio for the nights and the rare moment that nobody would be home to watch them. It would keep them out of trouble, and provide us with peace of mind.We got the 54L x 41W x 69H catio and it seems to fit our needs. Building it was really easy, especially when you watch one of the videos. I'm not sure about some other reviewers that experienced difficulties building this cage, but I really didn't have any problem putting it together. You just need to take your time. While I was initially not impressed if the sturdiness of the separate parts, once it was put together, the cage became very sturdy. I truly do not see how it could fall apart like someone else said happened, especially not if zip ties were used at every single corner and connection.The only downside we experienced was a number of broken (and therefore unsafe) parts. It is possible this happened because the cardboard box was very thin. Imho, the broken parts shouldn't have happened as they can put the cats at risk if some of the bars come loose from their welds (they can basically poke themselves on it when they climb the walls of the cage. This was why I initially rated this review with 3 stars. However, I figured I'd reach out to the seller, and they were very responsive, helpful, and friendly throughout. I provided them with a photo of the broken parts and they immediately shipped us a replacement through one-day shipping. To me, this is outstanding customer service and deserving for a higher rating.Other than this, there were no issues with the cage. I do feel the provided door locks could get an overhaul. I got only one to work, the rest would just not close the doors correctly (and it may be a bigger issue when the cats grow up). To solve this, I simply got a few gear ties to lock the doors.The catio fits nicely in our living room. It definitely is large enough for two kittens. Hopefully, it keeps holding up so that when they're adults, they can continue to use it. They definitely don't seem to mind using it. During the day, they use it for nap time (we leave the doors of the catio open when we're home and awake, they simply go inside on their own account (I think it makes them feel more protected)) and at night they walk inside on their own account the moment they see us get up and getting ready for bed. We may have lucked out with well-behaved and trainable cats, but even so, I do believe they're quite fond of the catio, they seem to love being inside.

We have been using this cat kennel for three months now and it has held up pretty well. It was easy to assemble though it took two nights. Appreciate the included hammer to join the corners. We were shorted on doors when it arrived, if I had to do it over again I would put two panel-widths of doors together to make a larger human opening for cleaning. We did have extra wire panels and supports so I used those as extra shelves for cat beds, and a "cage" for the water bowl that one of the cats likes to push around. A few welds have broken, and one set of brackets broke on the bottom after the cats jumped on the platform too much, though I think that was my fault because it should have had more support underneath. Extra brackets are included and I may replace them at some point. You get plenty of zip ties too, to hold everything together, and the door latches work great. We have it attached to a jumbo dog kennel where we keep the cat boxes to give the cats more room. Overall we've been pleased with the kennel and it works very well for our needs.(Do not buy the pictured cat hammocks. The clips on them are garbage and I'm actually using the extra zip ties from the kennel to hang them.)

I bought this for a new adult cat I adopted. I needed to make sure the cat is safe when we are not at home and as my pet family adjusted to each other with a new family member. It was easy to put together. The longest part was trying to decide the construction that would best result for what I wanted for the cat. It is very adjustable to build the shape - or height, width - and where you want perching areas and the doors. They included a small rubber mallet to make sure you get the square metal pieces into the connectors good. I guess those that left reviews that it was falling apart or unsteady did not use it, because mine is so well connected I didnt even use the zip ties. I ended up buying an additional one to make the area more fun and larger. I initially did not use the zip ties in case I wanted to change it. Now I have the second cage to add to it. Once I am sure of the configuration I will take the extra safety measure to connect the zip ties (I ended up buying black ones to blend in better to the black metal vs the white ones provided). I also bought snap closures - like the connector part on a leash to better secure the doors. My cat loves it and feels safe and I love it as well. Without the second cage addition, I had inside an eating area, a large kitty litter box, a cat tree, two scratching pads (one to lie in and another L shaped one) and a small rug for her to play with her toys. It offers a lot of room. I also added a hanging hammock, and put in the platform ledges for her to move around and lounge on. I really am happy with this and I did a LOT of research. I even considered building a modified chicken coop to make a cat condo, and am glad I gave this a try. I would not use this outdoors without supervision as it would not hold up to strong predators and snakes could easily enter the holes. Indoors it is great, and I used it outdoors I would definitely supervise. I'm really happy with the purchase - as mentioned I bought another one to make her safety/play/sleep condo bigger and better. As a note, all parts were accounted for, well packaged, and the small rubber hammer helped make the connections strong. For my needs and use this was a perfect choice and I recommend it highly! It is a four paws up from my cat as well :-)
