If you are looking at this protein powder and wondering whether it is a dependable cupboard staple, yes. It is easy to use after training or whenever you want a straightforward protein boost.The flavour is pleasant, it mixes well enough, and the tub size is practical. What I like with a product like this is not having to fight lumps or force it down. It just does the job.My tip would be to add liquid first, then powder, then shake properly. It mixes much better that way. Reliable, easy and five stars.

The powder is good and is of better quality than the cheap ones, having no chunky bits when shaken.The taste is good, but I got the cookies and cream flavour, and to me it just tastes like vanilla. Milk or water works fine, both taste good

I've tried this powder with water and it was absolutely terrible, tasted so bad had to throw the rest down the sink. I used milk instead, tasted a lot nicer, so I recommend using milk instead of water. There was no clumsiness. Was easy to digest. and id say it was good value for money. The best tasting flavour in my opinion out of the four I had of this is, in order, White Chocolate Raspberry, Delicious Strawberry, Double Rich Chocolate and lastly Cookies and Cream.

Tastes good, mixes well, high protein and low junk. Go-to post workout protein shake.

It mixes really well with no lumps and has a smooth texture, even just with water.Each serving packs around 24g of protein with low sugar and fat, which makes it ideal for post-workout recovery or just topping up daily protein intake. The taste is solid too, especially the chocolate flavours, not overly sweet or artificial.It’s also gentle on the stomach compared to some other brands, and I’ve noticed good results in terms of recovery and muscle maintenance.The only downside is that the price can be a bit higher than others, but you’re definitely paying for quality.Overall, a reliable, great-tasting protein that does exactly what you need 👍

How did Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Protein improve my training and/or diet?I ran out of whey powder before I bought this tub on Amazon. I have trained several periods in the last years with and without whey protein (replaced shakes with natural protein sources). I personally like the quick absorption of Optimum Nutrition Whey, the flexibility and creativity it adds to my day-to-day activities and the quality of the product. I have barely any other option to quickly get a protein amount while I am juggling my job, my workouts and while I am outside of my house.I personally think this whey protein has very positive effects on my training - I take 1 shake after my workout and (depending on diet/day) 1 shake before going to sleep.(I have gained about 14 lbs of lean muscle mass in the last 11 months of training - 4 day split). I also run 2-3 times a week (approx. 30 minutes).TASTE:I have tried several brands before I discovered Optimum Nutrition. Cookies & Cream is probably too sweet for some consumers, the taste improves if you just mix it with water (milk, juices and the like have too much sweetness already).Mixing with WATER:Using a SMART SHAKER (tm) - mixes OK with water, there are no lumps and the process is quick.If you have further questions please do not hesitate to contact me.Mixing with MILK (low-fat 0.3% milk):Using a SMART SHAKER - mixes really well, taste is excellent. No lumps or issues. If you shake it hard enough there will be a little bit of "foam" on top of your shake which is good.Mixing with fruit juice:I have tried MINUTE MAID Orange Juice - mixing was no problem but I personally didn't like the cookie/cream/orange taste.Mixing/Combining with Quaker Oats (oatmeal/porridge):ON Double Rich Chocolate with oatmeal adds a great taste and makes the oatmeal more appealing. However, there is also a floury side taste (similar to mixing with water alone) which is the only downside. I can live with it.NEGATIVE / ADVERSE effects on body, skin or hair: NONE.

Pro Portion liefert es 24 g hochwertiges Molkenprotein, enthält wenig Zucker und Fett sowie natürlich vorkommende BCAAs, die den Muskelaufbau und die Regeneration unterstützen. Optimum Nutrition gehört nicht ohne Grund seit Jahren zu den bekanntesten Herstellern im Bereich Sporternährung.Ein Punkt, der für mich persönlich besonders wichtig ist: Ich habe einen sehr empfindlichen Magen und reagiere auf manche Proteinpulver mit einem unangenehmen Völlegefühl oder Verdauungsproblemen. Bei diesem Produkt kann ich das überhaupt nicht bestätigen. Ich vertrage es ausgezeichnet und hatte bisher keinerlei Beschwerden.Für mich stimmt hier einfach das Gesamtpaket aus Geschmack, Qualität, Löslichkeit und Verträglichkeit. I was sceptical to try cookies n cream as it’s a flavour that a lot of companies don’t do well. I read a lot of reviews basically saying 50/50 people love or hate it! But honestly it is my new favourite flavour. I’ve tried cookies n cream, rocky road and double rich chocolate from ON gold standard. All amazing flavours. Cookies n cream is my favourite with rocky road in second! So far I prefer gold standard to all other protein companies I’ve tried and I will continue to order from them! Honestly wish I could drink it all day.
