Searching Dell, it seems all 7210's, like mine, come with a smart card reader. That would mean your fit claim is incorrect.

Hello SA, Hope everything is fine. Our website shows specifically on which items our molded case will fit. Dell 7210 without a card reader will only fit that specific case. Device Compatibility: Dell Latitude 7210 2-in-1 (without Smartcard Reader) Kindly advise on where did you see that it will fit a Dell 7210 with a card reader? Thank you.

Can you remove and re-attach the keyboard without taking the case off? Or is the keyboard trapped by the case?

Hello Jon! Good day. Thank you for taking this to our attention. There is a case that we manufacture that we can separate the keyboard from the case itsely. However, I will be asking on the model number of the laptop for this to be checked to make sure of the keyboard model that you have. Thank you in advance, Gumdrop Customer Support Team

does it includes the keyboard?

No keyboard, just the black case you see in the picture.
