CYBER PURPLE is a tricky colour to describe, and it is tricky to photograph as the colour seems different in various lighting conditions. At it's core it is a dark pinky/purple, but as I said, the shade you will see depends on the light source reflecting on your hair.The varying shades the colour morphs between remind me of all of the other schwarzkopf purple based shades I've used in the past - Ultra Violet, Dark Violet, Mystic Violet and Glam Rock Black.I've taken the photos above - they are of my own hair, solely in CYBER PURPLE, so you can see what I'm trying to say.My hair still feels and looks glossy and there is no clinging chemical scent to my hair. I've been colouring my hair for over half my life and in the past I've used every other purple/violet shade that Schwarkopf makes, so feel qualified enough to say that this has great staying power for a dye containing purpleViolet shades can fade as quickly as red shades do, but after four/five weeks the fade is minimal and the purple undertone still shines through - which surprised me, as the water runs pink after washing my hair for a few weeks after colouring it. That is my only negative for CYBER PURPLE; don't use white towels after showering :)[CYBER PURPLE is only recommended for use on dark blonde and light/medium brown hair]

This was my first purchase of this hair dye and absolutely love the colour. My hair was a light dyed strawberry blonde and as you can see, extremely short. My natural colour is mid brown, but I wanted a nice subtle pink rose shade. As with all buzz cuts, your roots start to show within days, so I wanted something that would gently lift the brown but would be kind to my hair. It smelt like bleach, and I had a little tingling on my scalp as I do with any dyes containing ammonia. It lifted about 2 levels, which I was very happy with and I left it in for 40 minutes. I'm super pleased with how even my hair looks and also how soft it is. It's very easy to mix, and the after colour conditioner is brilliant. I will definitely be buying this again.

Very difficult to accurately capture this colour on darker hair, as it’s light dependent and the camera doesn’t really do it justice.Started with virgin medium dark brown hair and this colour gave a lovely vibrant plum colour and sheen.Richer in the sun and bright light but still visible in normal lighting.Obviously darker hair will never be “vivid” without lifting a few levels but still brighter than I expected!

I have been using this brand on my hair for about 4 years now and I naturally have dark brown hair. I dye over my natural hair with a brighter red to make a nice deep shade and it always comes out so bright and pigmented! My hair never feels damaged afterwards (granted, I don't bleach) and the conditioner that comes in the kit is great to use the day after to just leave in and bring some more colour out. Highly recommend!
