*REVIEW OF THE 15W BASS AMP*
This is an astonishingly good amp for the money being asked! In fact, the same thing was said by a professional musician on his youtube review of it. He'd played worse sounding amps costing over a thousand pounds, and his comments encouraged me to make my own purchase. I'm glad I did. Obviously a thousand pound amp is going to be way bigger and more powerful than this practice amp, but we're talking tone here, not sheer volume. Despite being diminutively sized the Rockburn is certainly powerful enough to cope with small gigs, and will handle a conference room, assembly space or church hall with no problem.Remember, this is a bass amp, so not suited to lead guitar. It's tuned to emphasise the low frequency output of bass guitars, and is also an ideal choice for your stomp box. I'm into homemade instruments at the moment and fancy trying my amp out with a homemade washtub bass. It would also do fine as a PA amp/speaker by the way. Whatever you play through it, the equaliser gives four bands of adjustment, which is greater control than most. The output is controlled, warm and powerful, with low distortion and hum. A handy headphone jack keeps the neighbours happy during practice sessions too.The only small niggle I have is the unusually short power lead. It's hard wired into the cabinet and I'd have preferred a detachable, longer lead. But it would be churlish of me to drop a star over a small matter on such a great amp, and I can easily wire up my own extension connector. So, if you're wanting a neat and portable bass amp that will take you all the way from beginner to small venue gig player, and handle your practice sessions too - the Rockburn 15 Watt is definitely one I recommend.

delivered on time, packed in a strong box loosely, not a lot of protection, but arrived in good condition. Playing an Epi-EB-0 bass & Stretton Payne Semi-acoustic bass through it, good volume, Sounds a bit trebly for me, but that's a personal thing, I practice in a set up music shed, so have to keep the volume low (neighbours etc!!) well worth the money.

I'm using with a semi electric and it's good for a bit of fun and practising. Arrived on time and good condition for packaging

Excellent amp, great sound & as other reviewers have said, all the highs, mids, & lows all make a difference when tweaked.Ordered 2 amps as I stay in two places, however, the other amp was the similar priced Gear4Music amp. This one is 10 times better, sound wise & its more robust... it really has the presence of a higher priced amp.I have played a cheapish Fender copy, & my sweetheart Hofner violin bass (finally got one after years of wanting) & they both sound fantastic. Can not recommend enough!

Cheap is what you get
It should be said that if you set all volume and eq dials to ONE the sound is lovely. (Though no one will hear it if you are busking). Also the build quality is very good. There are four key flaws which made me send this back:1 - Its power cable is all of 1 metre long - what's the use in that?2 - There is no battery power capability which would be really useful and essential if you are using it away from a power source.3 - If you turn the volume and eq dials up any louder than ONE you get a horrendous rumble which will really effect your sound4 - No USB connectivity - yes I know the specs don't say it has, but in this day and age, surely its as key to the use of an amp like this as a volume nob?Real pity as it looks great and the build quality for its price is also great.

Brilliant!
Brilliant. Sounds absolutely fantastic. My only slight issue, was that when I received my amp, the plug's prongs were bent upwards, meaning I couldn't plug into the socket. But, I don't think that would be a reason to rate the product lower than 5 stars. Admittingly, I was disheartened to find it like that, but, nothing a pair of plyers couldn't fix. The amp itself is perfect, and the sound quality is great. Many thanks!
