Sprague Orange Drop Treble Bleed Kit (0.001uf) for Strat Tele and Other Guitars

Well,I must add to the glowing reviews of this little treble bleed modification.My Fender Roadworn lost quite a bit of tone in the first third of the volume adjustment,rendering it a little muddy and the small margin between the sounds was difficult to manage in the live situation.This gizmo allows the adjustments in volume to be much smoother and the tone is preserved throughout two thirds of the volume knob travel.This makes the guitar feel more ‘alive’. Easy to fit,if you can solder.Excellent service from Sharc.

Nice little upgrade for my volume pot. Works well and makes a noticeable difference in regards to loss of treble at lower volume settings. Made from quality components, comes ready to fit with the resistor pre-cut and soldered to the capacitor.

Technically a treble bypass, this works really well. The volume no longer acts like a tone control as well. The unit fits nicely between the pots on my Telecaster. Does not really affect the volume swell as far as I can tell. Get one!

Nice quality. Do exactly as you'd expect. Worth every penny for a particularly dark guitar.

Maybe slightly expensive for what it is, but works as intended. Helpful to those of us who aren't completely comfortable with soldering and want as many pre-assembled parts as possible!

Brilliant little mod this and why it isn't on new guitars as standard is beyond me, it's a very easy fit even for an amateur like me with a soldering iron.I've fitted it on my American standard telecaster and it makes such a difference, the fender branded treble bleed kit which comes as standard on the pro series and is £30 this is £3.93 bargain.

I recieved a 715 series cap and not the 225 that appears in the photograph. It's a personal taste thing, the different materials used for the dielectric produce different tones. 225s give a warm vintage edge where as the 715s are harsh and bright not what I was looking for but may suit other players. Cannot fault the seller they were unaware their supplier had changed the series and offered a refund and apology immediately.

Does what it says, a cheap way to stop treble bleed when turning down the volume or trying different tone and volume configurations when modifying your guitar.
