A: No, our bamboo cutting boards have an extra thick and 3-layer construction, it won't easily crack.

**Q: How to clean and maintain?**
A: Hand wash them (do not pass them in dishwasher), air dry completely, and occasionally oil to maintain bamboo's natural beauty and prevent bacterial growth. Any food-grade oil will do the job.

**Q: Does it have any odor?**
A: For carbonized bamboo cutting boards, when the package is first opened, it may have a slight scent from the carbonization process (completely physical process, nothing chemical). This is normal. Leave it on countertop and the scent will dissipate.
