Is this product genuine, if the answer is yes, is there any way to verify this with the manufacturer - to be sure?

This product seem very genuine to me.I bought one back in January from boots for my mother for her birthday.So when I looked on amazon and it was a little bit cheaper than boots I bought it. The smell is exactly the same.Absolutely gorgeous. I don't know how you would verify it with the manufacturer but everything about it was exactly the same as the I bought from boots.

Does the box have the sealed clear cello wrap on it ?

Package was not sealed and looked like it had been opened prior to us receiving it
