Good product
Work really well

Worth getting for a novice.
They look flimsy but are actually quite tough. They really help with practice.

They work good.
They work great and are strong. Wish they weren't as pricey but I suppose cheap rip offs would disintegrate in this application.

SKATER TRAINERS... ALREADY WORTH THE MONEY
recommended by Braille Skateboarding, I hunted down a set of these. I recently bought a Landyachtz Dinghy, a little cruiser for dashing about, errand runs, city commuting and packing in my suitcase when working away. To get maximum use and pleasure I want to be able to hop on and off curbs. Yes folks that means I gotta ollie.. skater trainers keep the board rock solid while keeping it on concrete for proper pop. the board won't roll as you set up or as you attempt to land so you can go for it 100% with virtually no fear, brilliant for confidence building. The photo is there to show you the adaptability of the skater trainers - I'm using them over 63mm Fatty Hawgs and as you see the fit is snug but doable. It's a couple of mins to get on and same to get off again so compared with the time it is likely to take to nail the ollie it's a snip. I've had them 2 days and already feel I'm progressing. Buy some, practice hard, practise well and don't forget to tale them off and go ride!

I bought these for my brother for Christmas and I plan to buy a pair as they are fantastic. Fairly easy to put on and within about 30 minutes I was landing 360 pop shuvs. Very good for learning new tricks and I can imagine would be perfect for a younger child wanting to learn ollie's and what not. Also good for any skaters who want to just go anywhere there's a bit of flat concrete and have a sesh.

Bit too grippy!
It would be unfair to say that it's not a good product for stationary air tricks, as it is pretty good. However anything which involves some dragging of the wheels, like shuvits, it's not good at all unfortunately. The rubber compound is very grippy, no matter what surface you use it on. We tried concrete, road and wood and on all surfaces you literally can't budge the board. I'm sure the rubber has been chosen to be flexible enough for bigger wheels but I think it should be harder and less tacky, it would still be stable if it was like that. As we purchased to get used to shuvits, have had to send back for a refund.

Been Re-Learning for around a week
These skate trainers are very handy, By all means they should not be used permanently only as a tool to get your foot work etc down, Now... I have no skated for 18 years and i decided i wanted to learn how to do some proper tricks as i never had the balls to when i was younger, Im older now maybe a little wiser but also more aware of falling and hurting myself lol So i picked up these after watching a Brailley video just so i could get used to the footing and build my confidence and to be honest after 2-3 days of using i already started feeling more confident. I plan to keep using these just to help me get my footing and placement etc down. I highly recommend these if you are lacking the confidence you need to start doing tricks etc, These will help you get to know your board and balance on a board. Sure they maybe a little pricey but with the usage and confidence these will help you build they are so worth it.

100% recommend!
I wasn't completely sold on the idea of these when I bought them... however.. they are a wonder and of massive use! I was struggling to get to grips with some basic trick as the board was rolling away when I didn't want it too... with these on it negates that and also allows me to practice indoors as there isn't a chance the board will roll away and knock something. Would 100% recommend them to anyone learning their first tricks. Great item, and easy to use! There's nothing to it! Get them on and get learning now!
