What is the difference between the 100ml bottle for £40 and the 100ml EDT spray bottle for £26.99?

There shouldn't be a difference about the spray as its just a spray. The £40 one would usually be a Eau de parfum which has more perfume oil so should lasts longer, whereas the £26.99 one is usually Eau de toilette, has less oil and can fade quite quickly, however I have been buying this perfume (eau de toilette) for over ten years and haven't had any problems and Ive also bought the Eau de parfum when my purse is in a good moodHope the information helps
