There's another one that's for right and left handed if you scroll down in the post. It's where the description is, it's like 4 or 5 different products sold by the same company.

Q: is there a smaller version for P365, I have one this size and it seems quite bulky for hiking, jogging and biking?

I have the same sig p365 as you and i use a small Nikon camera bag. Our gun so small most pouches too big for it.

Q: Will this work for a full-sized 1911 that is almost 9 inches long with the beavertail?

I would say yes.. I just measured the pouch. It is 9in itself. Considering the beaver tail on the 1911 it might fit tight but the pouch does loosen up with use.
