I was really impressed when I opened the lights about the quality of the package. There is a good 10m of led lights and the entire length is adhesive. The colour range is great, right through the rainbow and lots of different options for flashing combos and speeds, even some programmable buttons on the remote to set up your own light show which my boys have had lots of fun playing with. The sticky strip isn’t as strong as it could be, and I found some bits falling quite quickly, but the surface and location could play a part as we’ve put ours in the kitchen. Fortunately they have included some screw in holders which you can pop over the light strip to hold it up permanently, perfect! Overall really pleased, it’s made a huge difference to our kitchen, loving having the lights on under the cupboard and around the tiles, looks fab in the evening!

These lights were exactly as described. I needed about 8.5 meters long and buying these 10m was more than enough to play around my display. The lights are bright enough for my purpose, couldn't say if it would be bright enough for others. The remote had to be used in a straight line of path, therefore I had to go through a little extra headache to put them somewhere where it can be aimed without moving around. I had to cut them to fit my design. However doing that I ran into a problem. With an email to seller, it got all solved. I found the White is a bit too Blue-ish. Other than that all colours work flawlessly. Thinking off getting a WIFI connector to control via App. Uploaded couple of pictures of my display to see. Hope that helps the others.

The strips seemed perfect, and spent a long time incorporating them into my shelving project. However I have come to find that at night when all the lights are off and I was ready to sleep, that the LEDs are still emitting an extremely dim light, even when switched off. It's clearly faulty as it does not go away unless unplugged, at which point it stops immediately. I can't seem to find a way to get hold of the seller to see if I can get a replacement power supply or something to see if it's just that... so for now I will have to give a low scored review because as it stands I will have to look for another controller/power supply. I will await a reply from seller to see if there is anything they can do/get in contact with me.

Cons: 1. Control is ONLY via remote. It would have been nice to have an on/off switch at least, and ideally, be able to control the colours too. For example, if you misplace the remote (or batteries die), you have to use the wall outlet. Thankfully, it does remember your last setting when you switch on at the wall. 2. The white light is very cold (slightly blue), and I wish there was a warm tone. I put this in a bookcase, and thought mostly we'd want white, and the other colours are a bonus. The white is so cold though, I wish I'd bought (say) the Ikea ledbergs, which give a really nice warm white. 3. To create white, it runs all the colours at once (red, green, blue) - naturally. The problem is, that one side of each LED is giving out a green tone, and the other a red tone. So if you are lighting up a shelf in a bookcase, the left inside panel of the shelf will look green and the other pink, even though the centre looks white. It's a bit ugly, but I guess another compromise from having the option to do other colours. 4. no instructions. the remote has settings like 'DIY', but not sure how to program them. Pros: 1. Adhesive is good. Clean the surface it's going on with white spirit and it sticks well. 2. easy enough to solder strips together (£6.99 for 10m of 4x wire from jutufeel) 3. the price is so low, I'm probably being too fussy about the warmth of the white!

The light on this strip is beautiful and very evenly spread Applied this around the sides and back of my lacquered mango-wood desk (dinner table). I cleaned the surface properly before applying the strip. It's been on for over a year now I think and the sticky stuff has never ever shown any sign of detaching from the table. On top of that, the IR-receiver connected to the end of the strip is hanging on the side of my desk supported by the sticky strip and even then there is no peeling. In other words, if people complain about it not sticking, they either didn't clean the surface properly or the surface is porous which of course won't hold sticky tape well. My strip is on every day from about 6.00pm until 11.30pm. I start off with White light (brightest), then Turquoise (brightest) and finish the night with Blue (half brightness). So far after about one year none of the LEDS is showing any sign of failure. The LEDs get warm when on full brightness but not hot enough to do any damage to the surface they're attached to. The remote is still working fine which surprises me since the build quality of it is pretty cheap. I hope this review helped with some of the questions that I had before I bought the kit. I would look no further and I will be buying more of this kit if I ever need to.

First impressions these are amazing, there are so many lights that give an even strong light spread, so easy to install in about 30mins. It does need two people. We used a block of wood to use as a guide to get and even line on the lights under the cabinets. They come in a long 10m reel but can be split into two as has a connector on both ends. We just bought a splitter and an extension to get to both cabinets. They look fantastic in classy white light. Or a disco/ strobe lights if you're in the party mood. They really enhance the look of my kitchen.

They worked fine for about 18 months but then started to lose ability to carry voltage around corner connectors and colours were different shades after 1st strip. I as really disappointed they died like this as I now need to get new ones. I hope that the seller reads this review and comes back to me as I believe they are still under-warranty. I’ll amend te review one way or the other, down if they don’t get back to me, up if they do.

Love these LED strip lights, very well made and so easy to put up we had a few corners to go around so do take a little time to work out where your cuts will be as we also bought the LED strip connectors which are also very easy to use. Great how you can change to so many different colours and also change the dimmer level and much more. I would highly recommend this set of lights.
