Hikvision indoor Junction Box Deep Base for DS-1280ZJ-XS Network Bullet Camera - White

This is a very well-made sturdy junction box for CCTV cameras. This box is specifically designed for use with Hikvision cameras but I’ve found it also fits other manufactures. I’ve used it with H.View and now with a Reolink B5K camera. I did find the screw holes were fractionally off with the Reolink B5K but I simply enlarged the mounting holes on the camera by running a 5mm drill through – it is only a fraction larger but now the camera fits the junction box perfectly. This is a very well designed and solidly built box made from aluminium alloy and feels good quality. Good gaskets giving confidence this would withstand a downpour. A reasonable amount of room inside for the network cable but with POE and the various connection leads it can be a tight squeeze getting the cables in. Very helpfully there is a metal safety wire which holds the camera securely in place whilst fiddling with the cables and makes things a lot easier when working on a ladder. This makes the installation a lot more secure – no access to cut cables. It also looks considerably neater and a lot more professional than simply screwing the camera to the wall. At time of review this was priced at £15 which in my opinion represents very good value.

These Hik-Vision junction boxes are excellent quality. I don't personally fit Hik-Vision Camera systems as I think they're rather over rated and expensive for what you get, however these Hikvision junction boxes are just fantastic. They fit the Reolink B800 perfectly. Only issue with the PoE IP cams is they come with an RJ45 Socket, Power, Reset lead and it can be a little tricky to fit in these boxes, however I have fitted 50+ of these now without any issue, the option to have rear entry or bottom entry cable is fantastic with the included glands which are also excellent quality. They have a nice little metal wire which means you can hang your camera from inside the box whilst you're making your terminations etc and fiddling about getting the excess wire to fit. In summary, they make the job very neat and less of an eye saw having separate bulky plastic junction boxes. I love how all cables are hidden!

Good junction box but I am using Poe and the hole for the cable going in is too big. Otherwise all good and fits my Reolink well.

Box is thoughtfully designed and solidly built. Supports three different sizes of camera base with enough room for housing the necessary connectors. Once on the wall and with camera, enclosure is fully waterproof thanks to the various washers, gaskets and blanking caps ensuring rain stays out. Comes with plugs and screws for wall mounting, and screws for the camera. I used a 6mm bit for the wall plugs. Has a drill template sticker so you don't even need a pencil. Appertures just wide enough to pass a BNC connector through. I know it's just a camera junction box, but I appreciate good design when I see it.

These are described as “deep base” junction box. But they certainly are not. There was very little room inside to fit the connection cables. Most of the inside of the box is taken up by the poorly designed face plate onto which you fit the camera. Look elsewhere for something of better design.

Work well

The junction box is of decent material and put together nicely, you should be perfectly fine fitting the RLC-410W as I have done despite being made for HikVision DS-1280ZJ-XS Network Bullet Camera, this also cost £10-£15 cheaper than the official Reolink Junction box which was good. I did take extra pre-cautions to use silicon sealant around the edges and extra screw holes that will not be used, it does get a little tight when placing in the Lan / Reset cables, but does fit. Two nice little added bonuses are the screws to the lid will not fall out when unscrewed and the lid part has a little cable that attaches to the body so when up the ladder it will not fall off. It has been up about a month now in various weathers, so far so good.

Not good, used hik vision camera the holes on the base don't line up I had to redrill very frustrating turned a two minute job into into a twenty minutes job.

Acquistata per installare una telecamera da esterno EZVIZ C3WN con cui per dimensione e pattern di fori di fissaggio è perfettamente compatibile, oltre a contenere all'interno i connettori di alimentazione e quello di rete che diversamente resterebbe "volante". Il risultato finale è molto gradevole in termini estetici e la solidità della cassetta ispira la giusta fiducia della durata nel tempo.

購入したカメラがHIKVISIONなので、カメラ取付用のネジ穴が一致する本品を購入した。 しかし、汎用品が多く出回っており、価格は3分の1！！！ HIKVISIONのネジ穴のピッチは微妙に寸法が違う為、加工も面倒なので購入するしか無かった。 防犯カメラ業界世界一を謳うならスケールメリットも有るのでもっと安く販売出来る筈だ。 造りはしっかりしているので価格だけは残念だ。カメラとレコーダーは価格以上の商品だった。

Cette boite est de très bonne qualité et parfaitement étanche. Avec ses deux orifices, on peut au choix, soit passer les câbles par l'extérieur (à travers le raccord presse étoupe) ou bien par l'intérieur directement au travers d'un trou réalisé dans le mur d'appui. Dans ce dernier cas on remplace alors le raccord presse-étoupe (qui n'a plus de nécessité, par la plaque bouchon issue de l'orifice central coté appui. Au final, elle peut contenir l'ensemble du système de connexion du câble Ethernet et ainsi le protéger des intempéries extérieures. Je recommande de la monter systématiquement avec chaque caméras auxquelles elle offre une base solide.

Zu meiner HIKVISION ds-2cd2042wd-i habe ich mir zusätzlich diese Dose bestellt, um den Kabelbaum der Hikvision (Netzwerk + Strom) etwas besser im Außeneinsatz zu schützen. - Das Gehäuse ist sehr stabil gebaut. - Eine Vielzahl unterschiedlicher Verschraubungsmöglichkeiten sind möglich, die Schrauben sind dabei enthalten. - Sehr nett finde ich auch eine eingebaute Sicherheitsschlaufe, die den Deckel am Rumpf des Gehäuse sichert, was die Installation erleichtert. - Das Gehäuse ist groß genug für die Kabel der HIKVISION ds-2cd2042wd-i sowie, wie in meinem Fall, das zuführende PoE Netzwerkkabel. Der zusätzliche Steckerschutz der HIKVISION ds-2cd2042wd-i blieb jedoch außen vor, da das Gehäuse sonst recht eng wurde und ich zu starke Kabelknicke vermeiden wollte. - Alle Übergänge (selbst zwischen den Schrauben zur Wand) sind ordentlich mit Gummidichtungen geschützt. Für die HIKVISION eine sehr gute Ergänzung bei direkter Aufputzmontage der Kabel.
