Great Product some flaws but overall worth it
The product seems strong and sturdy, the base is heavy enough to support the structure so I doesn't topple. The LED provides adequate visibility. However after a safety test hovering over the magnifying glass opens the user up to inhalation of fumes, to me this seems like a design flaw as extending the length of the arms could allow the use to avoid direct inhalation. However flaw is the exposure of the crocodile clips which would cause damage to the PCBs I intend to work on so one should use heat shrink to lessen the possible damage to the PCB.Overall the product is of high quality and is sturdy and should last a long time.

Good base, not convinced by the lens
This has a good heavy iron base to it, keeping it stable which is good.I'm not actually convinced by the lens. It's massive and does magnify, so maybe it's just me, but I struggled to focus with it. The light is reasonable. The arms are fairly adjustable and the pinchy things have a good firm grip. It also has a solder sponge and iron holder, so if you need those things, that's nice. I do. But if you have a solder station and/or don't need the magnifier, prob best to get one of those flexy arm jobbies instead tbh as you'll get more versatility to grip things in more ways.

Helping Hands
Excellent piece of kit for helping with soldering (another pair of hands). Well made, good delivery service

Not bad, but not great!
A decent bit of kit, but.... The magnifier is a bit close to the arms. It could do with a longer centre stem

Handy help
I'm a keen model builder. Eye sight not as good as it once was. So I needed the large magnifying glass. Very clear view.

Solid bit of kit
I was very pleased with this purchase. Its a sturdy piece of kit with enough weight to be stable under use, due to the cast iron base. I use it for minor repairs and small projects and for that it is ideal.

I think it is a good tool has plenty adjustments for any difficult jobs
I think it is a good tool has plenty adjustments for any difficult jobs. It was damages when I received it, was going to send it back but though I would get in touch with the supplier first and explain what was wrong with it, and they sent a replacement. Would deal with this company again, well worth 5 stars.

Great hands, but...
These are basic helping hands that work. There is nothing really special about them, other than they work. The light is fairly bright (could be brighter) and the magnifying glass is a nice bonus. Solid construction and easy to use.My only complaint is the attachment that the magnifying glass attaches to the post is a fixed attachment. You have limited adjustments of it. It does not swivel like the hands do, but moves side to side at the post itself. If it were a ball joint like the hands it would make maneuvering the magnifying glass a bit easier. This is a minor gripe and doesn’t restrict the use, but it could be better.
