Bought this after scrolling the net, moth infestation was 1st I'd ever experienced and was shocked how quickly they spread . 1st treatment hit them really hard but because they had got inside the sofa it took a respray 1 week later which seemed to take care of the rest. I resprayed 1 month later just to be certain. But since 1st spray I saw nothing flying around. If the moths are just in a carpet 1 spray would probably be enough, but if inside sofas you need repeating. I'm very impressed with product I've bought some more, will keep a supply in I'm.

The best way to keep carpet moths at bay and avoid holes in cashmere jumpers. Vacuum carpets on max suction first then spray. Careful- you may have moths “hatching” in the vacuum bag!

I sprayed the whole wardrobe and each clothing and garment, but the moths that flew into the room were still happily flying around it and went to hide inside the wardrobe. I managed to catch one by swishing around a sticky moth trap and luckily it spread all the eggs onto the glue. So the pleasantly smelling spray didnt help against the flying ones, but I cant see what had happened to the larvae, so I'm still hopeful and gave 3* Will update when I pull out my garments from the vacuum bags in 3 months time...

The beginning of a moth infestation - originating from a hand knitted woollen shawl just on a shelf in my bedroom (now removed, washed, and clean but holey) - arose when I noticed more than I would expect tiny moths flying around, here and there. I started with Moth Stop spray, alone. I had bought Moth Stop hangers, but they were so strong smelling I couldn't stand them. I sprayed moths and clothes and carpets. Unfortunately this was not enough. I delved further, vacuumed, tidied, and found eventually the source, the shawl. I bought more spray, sprayed into clothes, all carpet edges over the house, and bought more hangers. Instead of hanging, I put one under my bed at the edge of the carpet, another under the open clothes wardrobe, and others here and there. With all three Moth Stop things in place, spray, hangers and Moth Stop sticky catcher trap, and zapping any moth I saw with the spray immediately as well, it seems I am on top of it all now, and Moth Stop has worked, thank goodness. I keep a bottle of the spray to hand to make sure I prevent things coming back now. Hangers still in place in various places, and trap still there.
